if you want my two cents, i really liked the performance. I liked the vocals a lot. Frank Black has such an everyman voice that it can be really easy to try to copy him, rather then make it your own, and he somehow avoided that. I liked in the "girly so groovy, a ha ha ha" part, how he sang it as if he were laughing. That is honestly the only improvement i think the pixies could have made. Its so incredibly minor, but i still liked it a lot.

Yes. I agree. The singer made the "ha ha ha ho!" sound like such a genuine laugh that it made me laugh.

I actually think it's cool you pretty much reinvented the guitar parts to your own taste. As long as it's in the same key you can play the guitar however you want and still make it the same song. i want to cover this song so badly.
