i burn i really like to do for triceps involves a cable machine. start with heavy tri push downs (4-6reps) then immediately go into rope push downs 30 per of 1 rep max to failure. make sure to keep form on the rope though because its a hell of a burner you'll want to round your back and start recruiting other body parts to help with the weight.
i used to do these all the time and i like them and still like them, but if u want serious triceps u need to do close grip or reverse close grip bench. brings out the triceps all the way down to the elbow not just the up heads
@pwnagenuss It is only hard on the joints if you bounce the weight at the bottom of the set. Using the proper weight and proper form, this is a safe and effective triceps exercise. All the best! --Jay
@JayRobbEnterprises yes diet is very important for muscle growth as well but muscles are made up of three muscle fibres, 1 slow-twitch and 2 fast-twitch. by doing heavy weights your activating the two fast-twitch muscles fibre types. 12 reps is endurance 6-8 reps is power.
Are you remembering to breathe while exercising? It sounds like a stupid question, but a lot of times folks do forget to maintain their breathing pattern while exercising. Patterns can change depending upon which exercise is being performed and how it is performed.

you must be over working your body take breaks and drink plenty off water i use to have the same problem but as i work out more i'm getting fitter and dont have that problem now

@bassmasternick This is a myth. Diet gets you cut, varying reps just offers variety, as long as, the muscle is thoroughly worked.

its your triceps, yes, but if you want a really good punch you gotta use your hips. i suggest russian twists
