If you're referring to playing fast tempo songs in standard tuning, that's not Metallica's style. They pioneered it, but it's thrash-y, and doesn't make Trivium rip offs for making some thrash songs. And you're wrong about that, The Crusade is actually my favorite album by them. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it sucks, get your head out of your ass.

@AnybodyKillMe Well, actually, The Crusade is an amazing album. It's better than any thrash album to date, aside from Testament's albums (maybe some Megadeth when Friedman first joined). The only similarity is the vocal style, even which then they don't sound anything alike. Blame Jason Suecof for a poor vocal mix, he's always terrible with clean vocal tracks. (Yes, it's HIS fault the album was referred to as a Metallica ripoff). He even botched All That Remains' Overcome album.

Rap=/= crap. I like Eminem because he raps (mostly) about his life experiences, how he dealt with them and how's he's doing now. There are good rappers out there that aren't mainstream. I was into rap heavily at some point, and I defend it to some point; but todays mainstream rap is pure feces. Lyrically speaking: Jay-Z, Kanye, NAS, Mos Def, BTNH, and others that don't lazily put their lyrics together or use childrens nursery rhymes.

Rap=/= crap. I like Eminem because he raps (mostly) about his life experiences, how he dealt with them and how's he's doing now. I don't think that rap is crap but 50Cent, JayZ, Swizz Beats, LilWayne and Kanye West, even though are "artists", they do not produce music of depth. Just my opinion and I'm not hating. If you love rap,sorry I'm just being honest!

These guy's buy pro tools and they are set for life all they do is ryhme into the mic and that's it they make millions of dollars and it's crap! Now i do know there are some good song that have meaning and emotion, but it's just not for me ok!?
