  • I think all of Pixar's movies are amazing masterpieces, but this one kind of sticks out more than the others.

  • Even though no one ever agrees with me, Ratatouille is my favorite Pixar movie and this score is one of the reasons.

  • @CorporalHicks8 i agree with you :)

  • @CorporalHicks8 I would have also agree with you a few year ago, but then Up came along :D

  • @TheHazzarule Up had an amazing opening but it kind of petered out in that second half, for me.

  • ratatoing

  • i started doing research on cooking after watching this movie.

  • love this theme.

  • This theme very closely resemble the original soundtrack of the Pixar movie Up, Titled Marry Life Carl And Elly. But this is in the adagio movement

  • This is the single greatest song ever. The way it flows and how its performed fills you up inside the beginning is soft and climactic but when it gets to the peak of the song i cant help but close my eyes and appreciate it like i have never done to a song before. Truly art.

  • Cool an instrumental version of Le Festin

  • ratatouille... sadly forgotten film, much like the dish itself.

And yet it's probably my favorite from Pixar. Although then again, pretty much everything except Cars is absolutely incredible.

  • I hope this song was made by Hanss Zimmer

  • @46ayep it's not.

  • @46ayep lol it says right on the cover: MUSIC BY MICHAEL GIACCHINO

  • Disney Pixar are absolute geniuses

  • I really hope it's normal when you repeat this song like 5 times a day.

  • My sister hates the movie because it's about rats. Well f**k her shit. I loved the movie ;___;

I didn't expect a mouse movie to be so memorable and would make me feel so good :']

  • @justin2793 Have you forgotten any OTHER Mouse character? *cough* Mickey Mouse *cough* lol

  • paris, paris e paris!

  • me recuerda tanto a paris!!!!!

  • Cette chanson est belle<3

  • Oh Ich weiß was ich heute Abend gucken werde! :)

  • I love the piano solo in this! <3 i love this movie also

  • Ratatouille has always been one of my favourite films!

  • I love this song but I can't seem to remember hearing it in the movie.

  • @Kronimiciad It's because they don't use the instrumental version. They have the vocals for this movie sung by Camille. Her song is called "Festin".

  • @capet95 Ah, well that explains it.

  • oh man i love Ratatouille!!! i never get tired of watching it unlike other movies!!

(even though im already 15 lol)

  • This is one of Pixar's best

and yet, it's the most forgotten

  • @theawesomestawesomer i know i think thts becuase really its also the least .. well :o i mean pixars other films stick out this one.. kinda blends in so we kinda forget it i fear "UP" may follow a same fate but i hope it doesnt :):o i wanna see this movie again only seen it once and diddnt even see it half way through XD i like what little i saw

  • it makes me so sad to think that walt disney hasn't been able to see the wonders that pixar has brought to the world

  • "But why here? Why now?"

"Why not here? Why not now? What better place to dream than is Paris?"

  • T_T

  • Beautiful music, ruined by the ending.

"zomg i luv this song!!!1 lawlz."

    what the fuck.

  • I recommend writing an emotional love letter while listening to this song on repeat. I promise you that you will make the best love letter of your life.

  • i just finish watching dis movie .. When i grow up ima go visit france for 1 year :)

  • The foods in the Ratatouille movie looks appetizing!

  • I know its giachinno but the music is little the same than married life

  • i remember the most about this video is this song @.@ not the actual movie, but whenever i listen to this song, i think about Paris and the little rat who cook. Genius work.

  • @softpa MOVIE* not video

  • Michael Ciacchino is another Danny elfman Genius composition and arrangements

  • So tender

  • Every time I hear this, it sends a shiver down my spine.

  • So beautiful

  • Beautiful song :)

  • god damnit i want to travel... =( you guys here is a fact

fact: pixar was created by steve jobs who later rejoined his own company after getting kicked . ikr i thought this was bs but it isnt

  • @randomme098

Treat every place as if its something you've never seen. Like your hometown. You can travel like that.

I've traveled alot, and now Bumfuck USA seems actually pretty cool to me. Once you've traveled, you get a better appreciation of every place and locale.

  • @irishdancer169 for videos like friday....

  • i do not understand the purpose of the dislike button... if you don't like it, then why are you watching it???

  • this is beautiful..... :)

  • my favorite pixar movie :)

  • life is a never ending cycle of love and hate of joy and pain but there is always a time when everyone would want to share life with another.to show that they are special and to show that anyone can be who they want to be without worry to show.....that anyone can cook...i wish everyone a good life

    -jhonytwoface

  • @jhonytwoface534 that made my day. :]

  • @FacingWest95 im glad

  • omg i could merry this song <3 and also i love soft and great songs. something that touches the heart :D im crying right now :') tears of joy that is

how could some many people hate this song??? its preposterous plz notice the great smooth tempo and the great melody of this song everybody and plz rethink your rating (for the haters) :) thank you

  • the guy who made the medal of honor frontline soundtrack made this :D

  • awwww.... is beautifull... ^^ :$

  • 6 peoples are deaf

  • what is its name? :D

  • lol patinetatrueno is such a troll, dont respond to him!!!! IT ONLY FEEDS HIS HATE FETISH!

  • honestly when i finished watching the movie i had a great desire to cook. i made spaghetti :D

  • ratatouille is the best dinsey movie ever

  • i love the accordion in this song :)

  • omg me too i love this song!!!

  • @Babybloo95 Man you're a..... I will not desecrate this vid with vulgar for u.

  • 5 people don't know what good music is.

  • @Babybloo95 excuse me? im american:)

  • wow..the first part of the song before 1:03 is extremly calm and quiet then BAM! at 1:03 its extremly powerful. gorgeous

  • lovely indeed! i don't mind watching this movie over and over again... :-)

  • Who feels like cooking something French while listening to this music? I got my hand up.

  • sometimes I forget that Michael Giacchino composed music for some Pixar films and then I'm like, "wait, why does this sound so familiar" and then I remember him and LOST and get all sentimental. Giacchino's the best. <3

  • 5 people should get gassed and chased by a lady with a gas mask and a shotgun

  • I´M SPEECHLESS...BEAUTIFUL SONG...

  • When I stayed at my boyfriend's house for the first time on his birthday two years ago, we snuggled up in bed for the first time and watched this film, and we both adore this song.

I think it may have to be our 'first dance' song when we get married :)

  • @THEFRANCO15 Can't wait for Cars 2 and Monsters Inc. 2. Even their money-grubbing sequels are good.

But a monsters inc. sequel seems more interesting. Maybe Pixar's rearing to surprise us.

  • that was heavenly...all warm and fuzzy inside, and I forgot about life for a brief precious moments

  • a movie is nothing without the perfect music... Music is the whole world... music has no limits and makes you travel and dream

  • @ThalassaForEver I wish music made me travel.

  • @ThalassaForEver "we couldn't live without music" Friedrich Nietzsche

  • im 16 and i LOVE ratatouille

  • @WhatLaw17

    18

  • it's nice but not memorable like Up and the Incredibles.

  • @MrDetwaa I actually found Ratatouille far more memorable than Up. Personally, I have a real soft spot for rats, but I didn't enjoy the "life's hardships" montage about growing up, growing old, etc.

  • @Szedg Oh trust me I agree with you. I was referring to the music that's more memorable, not the feature. :D

  • I'm speechless.

  • 3 people missed the like button...

  • it makes me feel so safe! and warm!

  • ME ENCANTA ESTE TEMA

  • Beautifoul it's imposeble

  • @Balloonney

He did incredibles, UP, and the new star trek, one of the best modern orchestrators and my favourite film score writer.

  • @MrFunxy Yeah, him and Randy Newman. =)

  • @MrFunxy for me its John Williams First , then Hans Zimmmer, the Michael

  • @erikgmez

Well just so you know, WIlliams is awesome, but had a lawsuit land against him for copying; and Hans Zimmer is a true shame because, sure a lot of great music comes from his *company* but that's just it, he doesn't do much of the writing himself, I like his music a lot, especially Pirates of the Caribbean 2, but he just doesn't do the work himself, his team does.

  • this was a great pixar.

  • In my opinion, this is the most beautiful film I have ever seen and in every sense of the word.

  • title please

  • I bet if walt saw this movie he would fall in love with it.

  • @CaptainViral84 Oh my, forgive me but I am very emotionally attached to this movie, I almost started to cry when I visualised Walt seeing it :(

  • @CaptainViral84 I think Walt Would have thought 'what is taking them so long?', but on the outside he would say 'You are all doing a great job without me.'

  • @CaptainViral84 Or go into shell shock. He fought in the trenches around France in World War I.

  • @CaptainViral84 im sure he would be very proud of all his followers who kept his legacy going., onf the best disney pixar movie ever made

  • @CaptainViral84 walt disney fucked your mother, get a life and get some friends or get a semen-covered dildo and stick it up your ass your piece of shit; you dont have to buy it, ask it from your milf mom

  • @CaptainViral84 I think Walt would love every Pixar film, don't you? A brilliant mix of Disney magic and Pixar's own brand of storytelling and creativity. True masterpieces, they are.

  • @CaptainViral84 Pixar is Disney's last hope in restoring what Walt left us.

  • @CaptainViral84 Are you talking about Walt Disney?

  • Comment removed

  • @icyfreeze209CP

No he is talking about Walt Whitman the 19th century American poet in a video about a movie that has a rat that can cook created by Disney's Pixar...yes Walt -> Whitman.

  • @CaptainViral84 except, oddly enough, walt hated mice. maybe he still would have loved the movie. I certainly did!

  • 3 people are deaf...

  • watched a 60 second version watch?v=lWARXBB1cZY

  • It's a really nice song

If you disagree i think you should listen again

and again and again until you like it

Michael Giacchino: you are such a good musicwriter

This song is SO beautiful and up Stuff we did (and others) are also that beautiful

  • Ratatouille Can you live in a real Present Day (Crezoic Era)

  • A-MA-ZING!

  • I wish i lived in paris v -v the movie made it looks to beautiful

  • It's such a beautiful and soothing song.... I <3 it!

  • I'm pretty sure that Edna Mode and the short head chef that says "Lingouuuuuiniiiii" (forgive me I haven't seen Ratatouille in a while) had something going on for a while.

  • I love especially 1:02-1:22.

  • Lindo! Amei....

  • this movie is really touching!

  • It's so beautiful... I loved!

  • Too bad Pixar has a new flop :/

    Cars 2

I'm serious! No point for a sequel. Toy Story was understandable if you watched #1 at least 9,345,098,132,670,564,089 times.

  • Giachinno, the new Nobel

  • This is sooo lovely

  • my dad loves this film and so do i... we are actually watching the film now.... and Remmy is eating cheese and a strawberry lol XD

  • Pixar in general has such a poignant grasp on life that the people behind the movies are able to cleverly use nonhuman characters or unrealistic situations and give them such realism that people are able to relate and go so far as dream for the impossible.

    amazing soundtrack!!! amazing pixar!

  • Truly one of the greatest soundtracks ever! I'm soon going to make a video of my top 10 favorite soundtracks of all time, and this one will be in the video for sure :D

  • Michael Giachino is so skilled at fitting the time and place of the story with his music....As an aspiring composer, I look up to him.

  • such a wonderful movie

    such a nice music

  • I love this song... T_T

  • I love this song... T_T

  • I don't understand....all the videos i watch on youtube...there are always people pushing the button dislike....even for videos like this one...

  • @boboleclown12 It's an opinion, it's not a scientific fact that a song is good, only you can say if it is or not.

  • @boboleclown12 iv actually found a couple with no dislikes as amazing as it sounds and yeah its wierd cause first you think well there's a lotta people out there so the odds are good that someone will push it but then you imagine the guys sitting there watching this fantastic video on youtube and disliking it thats when you realize that it really is impossible for someone to dislike it

  • @boboleclown12 I think their hands slip on the mouse every time.

  • @boboleclown12 They were probably like, oh wait, nobody disliked this one yet, i'll be cool and be a rebel :P losers

  • @boboleclown12 i guess many people have disleksia

  • @boboleclown12 Those people are not very normal!

  • @boboleclown12 Haters will always hate. For things like Ratatoullie, more haters are good because it proves that there is still tripe in the world who don't know good cinematic adventure when they witness it. These people need to be found and re-educated for the better. It's not brain-washing if they become productive.

  • @boboleclown12 I'm pretty sure people just do it to get other people riled up and make comments like "Skinner make six accounts and disliked this."

  • @boboleclown12 they just feel cool by doing this. Big mouth, little heart

  • @boboleclown12 fuck you!!!!!!! your comment was a waste of time and you are faggot just like the 91 pieces of shit who gave you the thumps up, well i give you the middle finger mother fucker!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @patinetatrueno Obvious troll is obvious.

    BUT ON A DISNEY VIDEO?

    Y U NO GO TO 4CHAN?

  • @boboleclown12 Yes isn't it weird, I think it's people who are so upset with life, that they forget to simply appreciate the little things in life.

  • @boboleclown12 Yes! It always seems that way. I uploaded a video a year back, and it had 0 views and 1 dislike?!? It's like, every video has to have a dislike! It's soo stupid!

  • @boboleclown12 no no no it's ok those 6 people were just so moved by this song they missed the "like" button ;)

  • this the reason i like french people :)

  • OHHH CLARINET!!!!! i can learn this song then

  • one of my favorite movies of all time! such a good story line and i adore remy:) and the music of course

  • FRENCH PEOPLE HAVE GOOD LUXUARY STYlE OF FOOD

  • glorious

  • Giacchino is the greatest disney composer and possibly one of the greatest composers today!

  • @robwushu Absolutely True.

  • God this just makes me so happy, not alot of people appreciate music like this, which is sad, this song is so pretty. Now I want to go to France :)
