  • I must admit....I am a amateur powerlifter and dont do much in the way of 'guns' workout. However, that hammer curl with the kettlebell KILLS your forearms....these are FAR FAR better than using a db/bb and will be used as accessory work by myself definitely!

  • if you want bigger arms dont focus on just the bicep!!!! focus on the tricep more cause the tricep makes up 75 percent of your whole upper arm! get bigger triceps and it will make your arms look bigger!

  • dont underestimate triceps for big arms!

    i always try to throw in a tricep set after a good bicep set. not only does it make me workout more, but making it routine to work out tri after bi will just make you bigger faster.

  • whats the best work out for getting bigger arms when mine are scrawny? im 16 weigh 145 and can bench press 165, bench pressing really only helped my chest what is there for my arms?

  • @labreckcanskate, the best workout for arms IMO are dips for triceps & chinups for biceps. Do these workouts together & atleast 2 times per week & you will start to see a change in your arm shape in about  2-4 weeks.

  • Legs and forearms are the hardest to build up but i spend about 45 mins on each when i'm working out, i'm walking like a robot the next day

  • @boyrogers1 forearms are a bitch, but i found the legs to be pretty easy.

  • I meant to say calves, just seems they grow but sloooooooooowly, any tips? I do standing calf raises; with feet straight, then heels touching, then big toes touching (3x20) 2-3x weekly cause tey need building up, thighs are good to go.

  • hi i dont know if you have a machine you can get hold on but on leg press machines calf raises on the leg press machine work best for me but agreed calves and forearms are a nightmare

  • notice how many of these guys training have tiny legs but big arms... Arnold was known for have a full even balanced muscle tone for every muscle group! Remember legs are just as important as your guns!

  • Finally got over this need for aesthetics and concentrated on what would make me a better athlete. Chest, Back, Shoulders, Trap, Triceps and Leg and Core work are all there but I only do targeted biceps work twice a month but the funny thing, with the pulling exercises I do my biceps still get a workout a couple times a week.

  • arms generally come with all of the core training...I find it that you RARELY have to workout your triceps especially. The biceps just a bit..but triceps..nevar.
