@Jo3guy17 how exactly is it unnecessary? Its a studio kit, so having this many drum pieces creates way more room for creativity and variation in sounds/timbre. Just because djent drummers like to have 4 cymbals 2 toms 1 kick and a snare doesn't mean he has to. Have you seen Mike Portnoy's or Mike Mangini's kit? Yeah, and even that is defiantly not unnecessary. It would be unnecessary if this guy didn't know what he was doing, but he clearly does, and makes great use of all his cymbals.

You get an innovator that comes along (Meshuggah) and then people take from that and make it influence their sound. Do you honestly realize with as many musicians that there are today how hard it is to NOT sound like someone? Just about every single band sounds like someone to a degree...

@Shlankalank97 There are 4 crashes actually, the far left is outside the camera's view. From left to right 18", 18", 19", 19". Its not always the size that matters (no pun intended lol) because the different series have different sounds and characters; so basically you can keep the sizes the same. I feel the most comfortable with those two sizes, anything lower is just too small :)

@dudewheresmycar999 Thank you! I must admit that in the beginning it took me some time to figure out the timing of their songs, but after listening to them over and over, I found that it was quit easy. They dont use odd time signatures, even though it may sound so in their songs.
