@rubbish2113 Best tip is to practice with heavy equipment. For example, practice speeding up your hands with heavier marching band sticks on a pad and practice playing the bass pedal with ankle weights. It may be difficult at first, but it really does make a difference overall.

@sam35038 Absolutely. It took me forever to save up for my drum set. Obviously, I love the kit that I have, but since money is an important factor, the best thing to do is to really test the kit as best as you can before making a purchase. Not only is price range important, but the way YOU feel about what you're buying is also crucial. I feel that its best to not waste money on getting something just because it is more expensive, because if you ask me, price doesn't always equal quality.

@hotdogcib Thanks man! I'm plugging directly into Logic for the recording, but I'm only listening to the original Kiss recording. I make sure to mute the drum tracks I'm recording onto. If i keep my own drums into the mix while playing, it usually gets too chaotic and hard to hear, which is what happened for my Cult of Personality video.
