  • Good For you. I just Don't like How America build cars. Not reliable from My experience.

  • bahahahahhaha:

    watch?v=Vk1ysgy_kL0

  • why tundra is the only car from Toyota that is not in Colombia??

  • Chevorlet wouldn't make it up that dumbass because of there shitty traction control it would have exploded so don't give this guy a hard time

  • Toyota all the way!

  • Toyota, how much fun do you guys have making these commercials?

  • such a shit truck. such a shit commerical.

  • @ROIDS9399 And you have proof of this being "shit" how?

  • @IdentifiableUser what does the heat outside have to do with the heat of the transmission?? just about nothing. the tranny will heat up due to working it hard... not fire outside the truck...? LMAO shows how much toyota knows about trucks. i'll stick with my chevy.. theyve only been doing it for 95 years.

  • @ROIDS9399 Okay, have fun when Chevrolet is begging for pennies and Toyota will be bailing them out.

  • @IdentifiableUser yeah that makes a lot of sense......?

  • @ROIDS9399 The Truck is towing 10,000 pounds and it's Going up a steep hill, plus 257.6'F And you're saying The tranny didn't prove itself, Are you kidding me? seems to me the truck is working hard.

  • @jdmbayarea Go for it captain. go buy one. i'll stick with my allison thats pushing 385,000 miles without a hick-up. not to mention, i got something called PRIDE for the country i live in. i'll put my money towards america, not japan. GOD BLESS!

  • @jdmbayarea show the same truck towing that 10,000lbs around for 100,000 miles 30 seconds of this isnt impressive, this commercial is a joke , and anyone that seriously tows knows so. external heat has jack friggin squat to do with internal tranny temp

  • This is a good, practical test.

  • @proracer87 umm designed in california and built in texas. it is american. unlike chevy built in mexico.

  • @alaskanboy99661 or Canada SMH....

  • @proracer87 The Tundra is manufactured in the US by the way.

  • After the commercial, the Tundra fell off the plataform

  • My Tundra will destroy all.

  • Tranny = Transvestite.

  • Have you seen their new commercial has 666

  • I need a truck that can pull 10 000 pounds up a winding ramp thats on fire in the desert, but it also needs to be able to do it upside down. Sorry Toyota.

  • thats class!

  • Much better than the weird people commercial. Kind of makes you think about buying the truck.

  • @Deergab Oh well I as just confused as to the whole nascar thing :|

  • Isn't Toyota technically an american car company?

  • i like toyotas tehe

  • NOW THATS A TRUCK..........NOW THAT TRUCK ISNT GOING TO CHANGE NOTHING IT ALREADY DID! CHANGE EVERYTHIN

  • What is the point of this? Sure it is cool but they should be showing real life scenarios, not a truck driving through a tunnel on fire. I realize that they are just trying to show that their truck can handle high temperatures but I live in Washington and it mostly rains here with highs of 80 degrees F. And that's on on a lucky day. Don't get me wrong, I love Toyota. It just is kinda dumb.

  • so has toyota's big iFAG v8 stopped breaking camshafts yet? what about those rotting leafsprings that flew at people's windshields? i hate to troll but Ford forever. give me any f100 or f150 from the 70's and i bet it will outlast any tundra in terms of durability.

  • @thewhofan99 55 f100 is where its at ;)

  • Says the Land Rover guy lol.

  • your truck is not a real truck its a toy like the first three letters of your company name (toy)ota sucks

  • I wish Toyota would offer a transfer case with a center differential.

  • @SparkDischarge and a 300hp 1gr-fe V6 with Valvematic

    375hp 5.0 V8, with Valvematic

450hp 3.5 twin turbo direct injection V6. (shorten stroke of 1gr-fe, use 2gr-fse cylinder heads, use air:liquid:air charge cooling)

    8 speed automatic

  • i love tundra but there is no tundra in philippines only hilux

  • They should have made a straight ramp going down to see how well it would have stopped!

  • Toyota, how do you get the tundra down after its up there?

  • @atvspirit1234 The professional driver actually backed it all the way down.

  • @ToyotaUSA Then Toyota, that driver is a hero.

  • I dont give a damn if my truck can climb a fiery rollorcoaster i just need something to haul my empties.

  • @EricTehRedneck haha. then get a hardbody lol

  • @EricTehRedneck ok but, the tundra can climb a "fiiery" rollercoaster AND haul your empties. So....do the math....tundra is simply the best.

  • @bluejayguy26able What you don't realize... My F250 will pull this Toyota hooked to this trailer with Eric's truck and his empties up the same grade... and get better mileage with the trailer... and last longer... nuff' said.

  • @PowerstrokeForever ur f250 is gay

  • @PowerstrokeForever First, you have no proof that you can pull "this Toyota" and if you did i couldn't care less. Second, don't act like eric is your best bud and just use his first name whenever you want. Third, you've lost me with your stupid phrasing. Fourth, you wont get better mileage. And fifth, your F250 will not last longer, ever. NUFF SED

  • @bluejayguy26able a 7.3? itll be real hard for a toyota to outlast a 7.3...

  • this is exactly what I want to do with a new truck when I buy one

  • now lets see him drive back down...

  • Gotta love the Toyota commercials. There's 2 important words in every Tundra commercial. "ACTUAL DEMONSTRATION". Generally, that's followed by a "DONE BY PROFESSIONAL DRIVER ON CLOSED COURSE, DO NOT ATTEMPT". Beats the others commercials stating "DRAMATIZATION".

  • @KLsemperFi7 It was. All throughout 2006. Just like the FJ cruiser articles. Just because it wasn't in your minitruckin' or JP magazines, doesn't mean it wasn't in magazines.

  • Ive driven lall the trucks for 2010 including the Tacoma and the tundra and I gotta say nothing beats the tundra best damn truck in the world!!!

  • I won't be buying a Toyota until they go back to making quality again... Buddys Corolla started rusting out within the first year, and the transmission broke shifter synchros FIVE times. He was so happy a deer jumped in front of him and totaled it. I also have seen the pictures of the FJ ring gears exploding with very moderate usage (Same trail my stock Mitsubishi Montero did without breaking a sweat) I feel Toyota has really just out lived its good name...

  • WE ALL WANT THE TOYOTA DIESEL TO COME OUT I CANT WAIT

  • Tell me ToyotaUSA....Why are Tundras so awesome?

  • ok toyota, i got a task for ya, around where i come from, trucks get used and a bused for 20 years, after those 20 years they are eather restored, or derbied. If your fancey toyota can go trew derby after derby for a season, i will switch from a chevy lover to toyota, hands down

  • Great truck!

  • Quit bickering over this, from someone who actually made a living as an auto tech for nearly 10 years, I have seen them all last, and I've seen em ALL break. And not hating on "imports", because I really don't give a shit who makes it, but if it wasn't for Hondas and Toyotas, I wouldn't have made a living as a mechanic. Say what you want, but I promise you, the ratio of imports to domestics needing work was every bit of 5:1. Maybe it was just my geographical location? I dunno, but I worked on w

  • oh good finally a truck i can tow my 10,000lb cement blocks up a flaming spiral. i don't know about you but i defiantly do this all the tiime

  • @steves7613 awww, you must be that dumb ford f-150 owner. Because you don't even get the message behind the commercial.

  • @hackcker101 actually, i own a 2007 chevy 3500hd diesel dualy and a lifted 2002 f250 diesel thank u very much

  • This might have been a good idea, but it was edited in such a way that you can't actually figure out what's going on. Judging by the movie on the making of this commercial, a lot of work went into making it possible. Too bad the editor was looking for a rock-star feel.

  • @sparty609 How is american better? And the Tundra uses more American parts than an f-150...and the Tundra is assembled in Texas...by Americans...

  • @HFCHSvids notice what you just said?

  • @robby844 yeah i know exactly what i just said

  • Toyota is the best. The Tundra out tows any truck I have ever driven before. I Hauled a 9,000 lbs load for 11 hours straight through two states, the Tundra had no complaints at all! Works great in the cold too. where i live, it can get to -20 below zero. My Tundra has yet to fail on me!

  • tell me this why did they have to cool off the truck when it got to the top.. was it because it was "OVERHEATING" or "BREAKING A SWEAT"

  • @greenarcticcat400 the engine components and tranny werent but they sprayed the outside to cool down the paint and tires.

  • What is the point of this video? Yes I tow trailers up burning spiral ramps every day! Ok... Dodge Cummins all the way. Toyota does make reliable vehicles though and i respect them.

  • I'm tell ya, I've had chevy's and talk about not back their recalls or warranties. Chevy will not back their own warranties either! I've had it with Hanger Queen vehicles. That's why I own three Toyota's and guess what, no gas pedal problems and I have a 2007 Camry. If you ask me it human error except for a case or two. Ford and Chevy need to get a grasp!

  • Since when does anybody have the need to drive their truck through fire? Nobody does. And chevy also puts heavy duty 6 speed trannys behind the duramax. It's actually one of the best automatic trannys ever made and they are put in military vehicles. It's the Allison 6 speed.

  • should do real world tests.....compared to the new f150s

  • Is this really neccesary?

  • numbers tell it all. evrery time ford chevy dodge come out with a new model truck they sell like crazy.

  • I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra with 278,246 miles on it with the original motor and tranny, truck is stock and nothing has been replaced on it. Toyota is one of the most reliable trucks ever. My truck is used to pull an 18' trailer with dual 3600lb axles and loaded with golf carts. nothing can beat a yota except a yota its self.

  • @BubbaTheSharkFisher1 battery hasnt bee replaced? alternator? brakes? tires?

  • @robby844 only a battery, and radiator, and of course brakes and tires, but need the water pump, timing belt, inter-cooler replaced. other than that thats it its all stock

  • @BubbaTheSharkFisher1 since when does a tundra have an inter cooler? my old f150 work truck had 290,000 miles on it and didnt need a radiator..... and only one set of spark plugs.how many plugs have you put in yours?

  • i would hate to be that guy who had to drive during the demonstration. not because its scary but because he had to drive a toyota!

  • This commercial SO relates to me, because everyday I have to tow five tons up a flaming helix inferno. Thank GOD I drive a Tundra.

  • Why do truck commercials all have to out good-ol'-boy each other? Can pandering to a target market ( in this case 25-54 year old Southern white guys) get any worse than this? I realize advertising is all about pandering to demographics, but come on. This is the pale skin equivalent of having Snoop Dogg rapping about Newport cigarettes or Colt 45 malt liquor.

  • I like this commercial and glad to see it on MNF but...please stop saying a 6 foot tranny and say transmission.

  • now wheres the video of them backing it back down >: )

  • @kakureru Dude, I was about to comment the exact thing... Good thing it has good brakes as well!!

  • @kakureru

Its the Japanese, they just built a teleporter to teleport the truck down.

  • for the guys saying "buy american," you do realize the tundra is built in TX unlike say the dodge ram (Mexico)?

  • Comment removed

  • will toyota back the tundras warranty if it gets taken off road and something breaks? tell me that ToyotaUSA

  • @EatmyDust131 This depends on a lot of factors. Give us a call if something happens that you think shouldn't have 1-800-331-4331.

  • @ToyotaUSA i dont have a toyota, but i have heard of people with xj cruisers that got taken on easy fire roads, the strut braces worn down after that 15 miles of soft road and the dealer wouldnt back it at all. should your average customer need to call toyota to have thier cars fixed under warranty?

  • @EatmyDust1311 first off its and fj cruiser and thats why you dont buy a toyota because the stuff is so cheap it wears down

  • @robby844 i know, i have heard about toyota not warranteein thier fj cruisers after mild use. i have a ford raptor and its bulletproof! :)

  • @EatmyDust1311 yes i know you have a raptor.and toyota has little itty bitty 5/8 studs that hold the front end up on the FJ and their pickups.they are just junk for offroad.i had a buddy that had one and it was worn out after 30000 miles.toyota wouldnt even stand behind the alternator

  • @robby844 toyotas are pathetic. i know a guy with a completely built tacoma prerunner, alost nothing on it is stock its all bed cage and roll bars and shit, and its never runing though the enigne is stock. and they still dont know how to build a frame that is strong or rust proof.

  • @EatmyDust1311 yeah i know but yet they claim they have the strongest frame.how can that be when its only c channel? fords is a fully boxed frame front to rear.

  • @robby844 well its obvious. the worst tow and haul ratings clearly mark the tundra out as the strongest truck. and truck buyers know it too, which is why tundra comes in a strong 5th place in full size truck sales.

  • @robby844 tundra is fully boxed up front, has a lipped c fram in the middle (just as strong as a box frame, just lighter) and an open c frame in the rear.

  • @HFCHSvids and you think that boxed up front is what matters? i guess thats why it looks like spaghetti on the frame twister for truck trend

  • Why do toyotas suck sooooooo much? They should honestly stop making trucks. Buy American

  • @ScottPottorff92 Toyota Tundra's engine and tranny are ALL american and they are assembled in TEXAS by americans.

  • @HFCHSvids is that why the engine and trans are assembled in mexico? or why the window sticker says 85% japan?

  • @robby844 No truck is all american, and even if they were, how does that make it better? perhaps i would buy a ford, dodge, or chevy if they made quality vehicles. I work my Tundra hard, and it delivers every single time. thats what i look for in a truck, and the Tundra has it.

  • @HFCHSvids then why has my ford lasted longer than my neighbors 2 toyotas?

  • @robby844 because your neighbors don't know how to take care of a vehicle properly. Toyotas can easily break 500,000 miles, its rare to see a ford, chevy, or dodge do that.

  • @HFCHSvids rare to see a ford do that? then why are there vids on here proving you wrong? there are more ford and chevy vids on here with over 500k than toyotas. and my neighbor babys his truck pulls a 4000 pound trailer and takes it to the dealership every oil change.my trucks have never seen the dealership since the day they rolled off the lot.my trucks have had to pull his home countless times.

  • @robby844 GOOD FOR YOU AND YOUR FORD! YOU SHOULD GET A TROPHY!

  • @HFCHSvids WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS RETARDED ASS COMMERCIAL IS THAT THE TRUCK REALLY ISNT GETTING THAT HOT SEEING AS HOW HEAT RISES AND THE HEAT IS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRACK.....SO THIS IS JUST A BULLSHIT GOOSE FUCKING

  • @robby844 why don't you watch the making of the commercial, they took the temp on the inside where the truck was driving and it was 234 degrees farenheit. you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • @HFCHSvids and nobody cares asshole.its fake toyotas are junk now.3-5 years ago they were great.

  • @robby844 yup you're right. its fake. Why am i not surprised you are saying that?

  • @robby844 ok yeah they are junk...get real moron the new Tundras will tow damn near anything you throw at them. How am I the asshole when you are trolling a toyota video shit talking about things you don't even know about. And this is as real as it gets, I can't even believe I'm wasting my time arguing with a dumbass such as yourself. Peace out dipshit

  • @HFCHSvids at least you admitted it was fake and they are junk piss on you asshole

  • @HFCHSvids your an asshole because you spend all your time posting on these stupid tundra videos. sure its a great truck and great motor, but quit trying to defend them to people who don't give a fuck... seriously man i strolled through comments on another tundra video and you probally posted 30 times on it.

  • @hhimynameischris Don't like it? Deal with it.

  • @HFCHSvids I don't like you, but I don't have to deal with it, because I don't spend all my time on tundra videos on youtube UNLIKE YOU. So therefore, I won't have to run into you again. stupid faggot. Keep being a poster boy d-bag for toyota, and maybe in turn they will rub you dick.

  • @robby844 watch?v=1D10d579eEs&NR=1

it's over 200 degrees in that tunnel

  • id like too no the poor bastard that drove that down that ramp

  • i am looking at getting a tundra but i want a roll up tonneau cover. i want a roll up tonneau cover that would not take up any space. the only way to do this would be to build the truck with a tonneau cover built in. if they had a built in tonneau cover then i would go out and get a tundra but right now i am looking for a tonneau cover that takes up no space at all and is a hard cover like the rollnlock

  • Tundra looks so masculine while f150 looks so girlish. Ford f150 made specifically for girls and gays! watch out for 2012 f150 "gay edition".. its a pink truck from inside to outside!

  • @JSoto96 Its pretty obvious that JSoto96 knows nothing about this topic...Toyota needs people like you who can be easily brainwashed into buying their substandard, unsafe cars.

  • If I were to haul a very heavy trailer, why should i choose a Tundra over a 600 lbs of torque dodge heavy duty?

  • I heard that Toyota might sign a deal with CAT diesel engines and could possibly have a diesel option for the tundra in the near future. Is that true? Please answer!

  • When is Toyota going to have a diesel option in the tundra?

  • @Motorfordtoyota We are always looking into other engine options. However, the diesel motor is not in our near plans at this time.

  • @ToyotaUSA why is it because its bad for the enviroment

  • @ToyotaUSA why not

  • @Motorfordtoyota

i dont understand your name bro

  • @Motorfordtoyota they have diesel options for the tacoma's outside of the US. but as for the tundra i'm not so sure.

  • Will Toyota be offering a diesel for the Tundra?

  • GM, Ford, and Chrysler are all made out the States. Tundra is 100% American. Sorry to say it boys but Toyota will also far out last your Domestic trucks.

  • @Lambo6fo Just defending the companies that made our country what it is today, if you want to send your money to Japan, that is your choice but I will always support are domestic industries. Think about how many more Americans that GM, Ford, and Chrysler employ than the others. BTW GM and Ford's new cars are way better, tell me Lambo6fo, when was the last time you honestly looked at an American car? If you haven't recently, try it, I think you will be impressed.

  • @cmd21700 my bad on the grammar *support OUR domestic industries*

  • assembled in mexico, 80% made in america

  • Chevy..."This is our country"...made in Mexico!!

  • Toyota................"no matter how hard you try you cant stop us now"

  • Yet another VERY misleading commercial by Toyota, Its not "towing " 10000 pounds, thats the weight of the truck and trailer.

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 Yeah....like Ford, Chevy and Dodge have NEVER bent towing numbers....please.

  • they really think that this truck is the best dont they. LOL!!!!!! hahahahahah!!! LOL!!!!

  • im surprised it didn't melt

  • im surprised it didnt drive off the edge because of the gas peddle

  • @zr2chevypickupman lmao me to

  • oh god im having a day to day hay day on toyota ever since they did that recall ;) karma got all those toyota lovers back when those bail outs were being handed out.

  • @zr2chevypickupman yea and from what i hear hondas the next on grims list. thank god maybe now peaople will buy real cars and stop putting annoying fart cans on pos hondas and say there fast

  • @zr2chevypickupman that or when the brakes went out. They didnt show that part.

  • The magic of marketing

  • Tundra won't break a sweat, it will just break in 1/2!!! Flimsy rusted out frames, & all.

  • Truckers know to stay away from these junk piles.

  • That was like 10 second in the flames make it stay there 5 minutes and see of the tranny and engine get messed up

  • so when is toyota releasing the hybrid tundra?

  • @n3ffo

Toyotas goal is to have a hybrid option in every model in the vehicle lineup by the 2020s. We have nothing to announce at this time regarding a hybrid option for Tundra.

  • @ToyotaUSA How do you make such awesome cars, Toyota? Your cars can't be imported from Japan... They must be imported from heaven! Not that Japan is bad, it's wonderful! We've loved every car you've given us. We just traded in one of your '92 Previas right back to you. It had 250,000 miles on it! It lasted us 8 years, plus 10 from the one we bought it used from. We now have a wonderful '07 Camry. I apologize for anyone bashing you guys, they don't know wonders when they see one. Moving Forward!

  • @Elaboracy awesome? you mean bland, beige soulless appliances. there is nothing special about a toyota, they are built by accountants

  • Great, now try backing down that ramp with the trailer.

  • nice one chevy boy

  • Ever since GM became Government Motor, I need a new username.

  • yeah that was my question.....how you gonna get it down.

  • Best Truck Ever I Love It

  • This car is awesome! I bought one, and I was completely satisfied with it! Thanks Toyota USA for making such a quality truck!

  • ok, its not usa

  • but i bought it in the USA. i know it is a japanese car :D

  • good luck

  • amen brother!

  • will a 4x2 2010 tundra pull a boat easily?

  • Should be no problem...visit Toyota's website for the full towing capacity specs on the Tundra.

  • @specialedidtion the chassis on the tundra is not boxed. as suc, it has the least strutural rigidity and the lowest tow/haul ratings in its class. the truck just cant handle work becasue of that.

  • FORD+fix or repair daily.

GM made good cars but too bad GREED cause them to bankrupt. Way to many sub companies for them to handle for the almighty doller. (Saab, Saturn, buick chevy, pontiac ,hummer, oldsmobile and cadilac)

  • dollar?

And btw. . .GM might be greedy, but Toyota actually lost more money last year than GM. . .Lesson to be learned here is buy a Ford

  • Toyota most CERTAINLY did not lose more money than GM last year.

  • @SPS148669 you forgot Isuzu

  • @smokermoved

    Isuzu is Japanese not U.S.

  • @SPS148669 GM bought them out look it up

  • GM owned just about half of Isuzu untill 2006. that guy has his facts wrong.

  • UPDATE: New study shows 2009 F-150 #2 on "Most American car study". The F-150 is made in Michigan and Missouri; not in Mexico! Out of the 1-10 most American cars, Tundra is NOT on the list. The rankings are based on sales, where parts were made and where the car was assembled. Please check Ford's proving ground videos to see how much Toyota was destroyed in real world testing.

  • the parts that go on fords were made in mexico, they were assembled in america. Tundras were made in texas.

  • The Tundra is not on the list at all, the F-150 parts ARE NOT made in Mexico. The F-150 is 100 times more American than the Tundra. Please stop spreading such rumours. Don't fall victim to Toyota's marketing propaganda either

  • no, tundra was assembled in texas, not made. i would leave the country the day we used our steel on jap stuff

  • @ndubb1 Why are you upset about jap stuff??????????When you got stuff all around your house MADE IN CHINA!!!! LOL!!!!!!
