after reading 3 of his books, " truth" is not the issue here. that's if u define truth as empirical data. he never admits to having the absolute truth. he is an explorer who opens up avenues of thinking, allowing different (and may i say awesome/wonderful) perspectives of the world each other to be understood in a funny and artistic way. if you don't like mckenna fine, but don't come here and say what we all know already. the sub title of one of his books says speculation!!!

@jedimaster303 yes you can get to the astral realm through meditation,if that is your intention,pot just opens it up without trying to,Terrence mckenna was already an evolved soul, pot helped him to access what he already had ,but only through discipline, meditation & concentration is one able to become privileged to enter into the ascended master realms .it depends on the spiritual development of the individual as to what he can take from these different dimensions or substances
