Perfect example of 'spurious attribution", that wolf is not testing or challenging Ellis in anyway...It is just greeting him as an equal...It's this type incorrect interpretation of animal behaviour that got the Thimothy Treadwell all kinds of dead...He's lucky wolves are highly sociable and adaptive animals...Otherwise he too would chomped into little pieces...
