  • could you share a pesto recipe?

  • @montychel Actually working on a video for it, but in the meantime... PESTO 3 cups basil leaves, loosely packed ¼ pine nuts 4 cloves of Garlic ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese ¼ tsp Salt ¼ cup - ½ cup Olive Oil Combine and chop all ingredients in a food processor except oil. Then stream in oil until you get a saucy consistency. Enjoy!! Join me on Facebook too, I post lots of recipes and fun stuff!!
  • @NikkiDinkiCooking for how long can i store pesto on the fridge?, can it be frozen?...thanks!

  • @montychel Pesto is one of the best things to freeze. Try putting pesto in ice cube trays, freeze and then remove from the tray and store in a bag. This way you have portions of it if you dont want to use it all at once. Anyway you freeze it though is fine! In the fridge it will last up to 5 days but try to use it ASAP, the basil leaves are delicate and will break down quickly, so though it will be safe to eat 5 days later, it will not be as delicious.

  • @NikkiDinkiCooking i tried it today, your ratios work really really well, i added a bit more garlic and crushed pepper. its almost gone now, hehe, thanks for the tips!

  • @montychel Love it!! So glad you tried it! And you can never have too much garlic ;)

  • ! Yum all up :o)

  • U r amazing!

  • @yalitzaflor Thank you, made me smile :)

  • Hi Nikki,

Very nice video on pepper sause.

    Doesn´t look to complicated.

With us good red peppers are really expensive.

Maybe, I will take a try on it.

    Markus from Germany

  • Looks tasty. I'm glad you roasted the red peppers yourself, at first I thought you were going to use the store bought jarred peppers you mentioned at the beginning. Roasting them yourself is so easy and so much better tasting.

  • I think i'm in love, do you do ironing as well? ;D

  • Finally.

I like to cook chicken breast with a slice of cheese on top, then add a red sauce. I have tried all kinds of red sauce creations (mostly tomato based), but haven't seen this one. Can't wait to try it.

    Probst.

  • Awesome Job! Thanks 4 Sharing!!

  • Looks great :)
