Straight from the NS site Norfolk Southern And TVRM are in negotiations with bringing the steam program back featuring the TVRM # 610 and 630 and Southern 4501 (hopefully) by the end of this year.

This is one Beautiful Engine, My husbans Grand Father was the engineer back in the 70s of this big girl. I have lots of old still pics of her. I hope shes up and running again
She's definitely a lovely engine. I have very fond memories of 4501 too because the fam and I got to ride her to Chattanooga when I was 9. That is still the most memorable trip I've had. I definitely hope they restore her! I would love to be able to see your pics too. Bet they're awesome :D
