VERY interesting - was Jill Gibson, the temporary fill-in for Michelle, considered to be a

stronger studio singer than Michelle was? I know that Michelle was replaced for personal reasons, but their various vocals were so layered and double-tracked it difficult to know who was singing what. On most of their records, either Denny or Cass seemed to be the distinctive voices.

One of the best groups of the 60's the songs are great and Harmonies are still to the day some of the best ever recorded. Mama Cass had one of the most beautiful voices. My Dad had some albums of her I remember just sitting and listening to her.

Love this song, and love the pics used in the video! Never saw most of them, but I love the Ms and Ps. Cass was my fave singer in the band, and John's one of my fave songwriters /arrangers of all time.

youre right,christopher60s. i like the mono version single of "i saw her again" a bit better than the album version. and, i am in no way saying that that version is bad! i am a m&p's fanatic and have always loved their music to the core. people called me lame because i listened to them instead of cream, zep. i did listen to them also. just that m& p's had a quality,unmatched then and now. there were no bands quite like them. what's your single fav song of their's?

I much prefer the mono 45-RPM version - the background vocals here "NOW I NOTIUCED HOW YOU FEEL" seem so out of place.

That 45 RPM is only Mono Single Version. I also like mono single versions of M&Ps much more :) Sometimes you can even discover extra instruments on those versions :)
