  • I always get goosebumps when listening to "Remember Munich". The theme is stunning and breathtaking. But i always get even more goosebumps when she stop singing at 2:42. That's when only the strings are playing and that very dramatic and eerie part starts with the tremendously dissonant interval at the end. So powerful!

  • Everything was great except for the out of place image at the start....

  • .. they keep being replaced by worse terrorists.. it seems it will never end. Be strong.

  • @daron24a no man considers themselves evil. they believe we are the terrorists. think. if china invaded the united states and told us that communism was better, what would you do? give in? or fight back? they, like us, try do rid themselves of foreign influences.

  • @istarteverywar

Israel was first. I never read anything about palestina in the bible.

  • @preishius1 the phillistines are the palistinians. they were in the land of Canaan way before the israelites

  • @istarteverywar

The Filistines populated the area around present Gaza strip before the Israelites, but are not the ancestors of the present Palestinians. The Romans called the Area 'Syria-Palestine' to humiliate the defeated Jews by naming their land after their greatest foes.

After WW1 the British renamed a group of Osmanic regions 'Palestine', which represent today's countries Jordan and Israel. The present Palestinians are Arabs of jordanic origin, but not the ancient Filistines.

  • @preishius1 the phillistines are the palistinians. they were in the land of Canaan way before the israelites.

  • @istarteverywar No, they're essentially both nationalist mythological constructs, based on ancient identity groups that don't exist in any meaningful sense anymore. If you take the Bible as a serious historical source - which it is not - the Philistines are relative latecomers to the Levant, but that does not mean that the Israeli origin myths have any merit either. Top Israeli archaeologists with everything to gain from saying otherwise have admitted there is no evidence for the Exodus myth.

  • @mgayford It is true that one should not take everything in the Bible as historical fact. We Jews have recognized that one should not take the Bible literally as far back as the end of the second temple period at the beginning of the common era. However, the lack of written evidence should not be taken as proof that the Exodus story did not occur. Very precious little was written at the time in history when writing had only recently evolved beyond cuneiform tablets.

  • @rainboxman I'd agree that a lack of written evidence is not does not prove that something never happened, but it does cast doubt on it. Its the lack of archaeological evidence for large numbers of Bronze Age people from areas around the Levant immigrating to and from Egypt that always struck me. The ethnic-group of the Jews at that time, judging by DNA, stayed in the Levant. So did the group the Palestinians are descended from, because they're ultimately the same group.

  • @mgayford To call the Exodus story a "myth" is not only presumpuous, but condescending to our entire people. The same with saying that Israel is based on irrelevant "ancient identity groups." Jews have kept our identity through almost 2,000 years of diaspora, ending our Passover meals with "Next year in Jerusalem!" Ask any anthropologist, and they will tell you that we Jews have kept a remarkably homogenous identity with such dispersion. Kindly know something about the peoples you denigrate.

  • @rainboxman I wouldn't go throwing around the words presumptuous and condescending so casually if you're going to write stuff like that. Ask any serious anthropologist, and they'll tell you that ALL stories like that from ANY faith can legitimately be referred to as myths, in that they come from a time before history and seek to explain the world through narrative. I did not write anything offensive to the Jewish people, only that both claims to the land are essentially factually baseless.

  • MUSIC TO MY EARS

  • Wow impact the soul.

  • The flashback scenes were the strongest parts of the movie imo, and this music just added a deeper quality to the effect.

  • just pure wow no words can describe it

  • thats music

  • "They're all gone..."

  • I thought it was just the cold weather, but this song really does send shivers down my spine!

  • what is she singing ?? is it understandable????

  • @hafoko she's not saying anything, just singing

  • @ShahroseKhan Say what? Of course, these are lyrics. Maybe hebrew.

  • This is without a doubt beyond words!

    Stupendo!

  • gives me chills.......

  • Right there with you. Because of that movie I always see that massacre in the two helicopters.

The flashback scenes were the most well made parts of that film. Spielberg can really do well when he tries.

  • Who does the vocals?

  • Lisbeth Scott sang the vocals to this song

  • this sound is so demanding and strong...

  • dare to feel

  • heartbreaking.......

  • Absolutely stunning! Thanks for posting!
