but besides that .. its amazing how i felt that i was actually in the book .. and i actually wanted to read it again even though i hate reading books twice :S

I absolutely agree with you.

I missed a party because I couldn't put it down. To me, it's already a classic. I cried with it and not only once. There are so many touching moments, it's just beautiful.

I was always apprehensive about reading John's book considering it's catagorized as a 'teen' novel. But John's great, your review was great, and I'm sick of reading about Christian vs. Pagan progress in the development of parchment paper! I'm going to try and sneak out of work ASAP to run to the book store and buy this, your enthusiasm made me want to start it today!

I loved Looking For Alaska. Definitely a top-fiver. Another book that's up there for me is Veronika Decides To Die by Paulo Coelho. Changed my life.
