i don't eat meat too.. i just put store bought meat products into my digestive so that i can extract the nutrients. then later i crap out the depleted flesh which i didn't eat.

technically flytraps aren't meat eating plants - they're insectivorous. If you feed your flytrap hamburger it'll just die.

The Venis Fly Trap doesn't actually eat the bug, because it can't swallow. It secretes a poison that disolves the fly then absorbs what ever's left.
