That video, with Gagarin climbing on the stairs, was shot AFTER the flight. It was admitted by the Russians. Gagarin was a simple actor. He has not even made a picture of Earth when he "was" in space.
Great work. Yuri is among the worlds heroes from our century. His name is in every history book that includes our time, and should always be. I bet there was quite a bit of competition for that flight.
