I went to Badaling. I loved how they have the Sky Tram to get lazy/old/fat people down to the entrance, and then the Roller Coaster to get out was fun. Those Chinese sure know how to exploit their monuments. :p

It's such an amazing experience to have been there. The stretch between Jinshanling and Simatai is probably the most beautiful part of the Great Wall with lots of nice panoramas of mountains and greenery surrounding it. That part has not been fixed up in the way that the more touristy parts has.
