Ok for clarity I did some searching and in fact The Murderdolls had done the cover first in 2002 and then Deathstars did it again in 2005. Now for those of you who keep going back and forth there you go. I still think the ORIGINAL by Billy Idol is still absolutely amazing. This is good though. And I know there are people on both spectrum's going back and forth as to who did it better. I like the Murderdolls but I also like this so stop complaining and just listen to the song.

my review... ungly dudes in uglier makeup, musically quite good... you maintained the moody feel of this song. the singer has no voice.... lose him. I believe billy idol needs career revival he is perfect for this song and band. a good solid 5 out out of 10 is my score.... maybe a 5.5 marks out of 10 if i was pushed. quite an unremarkable rendition

I think you'll find the Deathstars can make their own choice as to who their singer is, and they certainly don't need people on Youtube telling them they 'maintained the moody feel' (I think they worked that out for themselves when they planned the cover). Not to mention the cover is more 'remarkable' than almost every other cover I have heard of this song.
