lcd screens have a crap lifespan and frankly its concept is the stupidest way to make a picture you can get a picture with a CRT tube and a voltage, these stupid lcds screens need a hole motherboard just to display a picture they have dead pixels and stuck pixels lousy view angles and suffer from ghosting +

to top it off these days you can only get stretch o vision distorted images on 16.9 which sucks

and last but not least they dont last more than a couple years -We were better off with CRTs

I got this today from costco. I have had the gateway FHD2400 and the HP W2408h and this ACER G24 blows them away. Games appear to pop off the sceen! it is truly an amazing monitor. Best TN panel I have ever seen.

DVi and analog for on PC and HDTV for PS3 and laptop use on monitor. If you dont have DVI on your video card than use blue plug analog and if you want DVI need upgrade video card come with DVI widescreen 16:9
