thanks for your question. your guess is correct. i used latest Sony Dsc-TX7 which just came into the market for 2 weeks ago - for this movie. this digital camera has wide dynamic range and good for movies - much better than casio FS-10 for this kind of view.

Yeah the quality is awesome, I'm going film my golfswing and I know the casio ex-fs10 is good at that...how is the sony when it comes to filming your golfswing?

to be honest, if i was not a golfer, i would be happy to have only this Sony Dsc TX7 - and will give a perfect movies for golfswing but ....can not take a high speed movies which i like to use for taking golf swing movies.

that why i still keep Casio Ex-FS10 only for a purpose of checking my lousy golf swing.

Although Casio's all highspeed cameras are using Sony's Cmos sensors but not a latest back illuminated one except EX-FC150 which could be a good solution for you.
