just wondering how you captured this? did you just use fraps or did you save battle replay and then somehow capture it from that? asking cos im thinking of attempting cair andros again and if i win id like to make a real contribution to youtube :)

also this mod is about to be patched with some locations from lotr (hornburg, minas tirith, moria and 1 surprise) as well as ents. and it was made by a team (under king kong) and they all did an awesome job so cheers to them and huzzah for modders

And yes cutem settlements ar about to come, ther emight be some preview video of one of them, soon =)

And i captured this tracks by saving a replay and using CinEd, a programm for kingdoms which allowes you to choose the camera angels the way you like, but that doesn't work with a battle on the campaign map just with custom settlements....

if you are using steam then you have to replace 1 of the kingdoms campaign with the mod to play it but otherwise you dont have to replace any. if thats even what you meant. sorry didnt really understand your comment

@Ermanamer hahaha. welcome to computer gaming. this isnt a game. this is a mod. basically its an expansion pack made by volunteers (led by king kong and they have done an amazing job) to play this you need medieval 2 total war and its kingdoms expansion. if you like rts-es and turn based strategy games id suggest buying them but if you're only in it for this mod id consider it carefully. if i were you though id buy it as i love them all and it wont be too expensive these days.

It's the battle from 3019 of Third Age or it's a battle described in "Hobbit"? I'm asking because I don't see here any Easterling but during the siege in 3019 they were majority of Evil forces...

It's only a randoom battle from my campaign i made, hasen't got to do with any that really happend in lore...

The battle of erebor mentioned in the hobbit were the battle of the five armies...

No. The majority of Evil forces in this battle were Easterlings, cause they were closer to those realms. And Elves of Mirkwood didn't fight in the battle of Erebor, they were defending their kingdom against evil forces of Dol Guldur. Maybe you mistaken the book with Battle of Middle Earth II, or Battle of Erebor with the Battle of Five Armies (from "Hobbit")

Just go to software and uninstall the mod

try a reinstall and take a close look, it sometimes also happens that the installation doesn't work right....

there should be one after you installed part 2.

you have to select creat desktop icon

but that shouldn't be a problem...

go to the folder you've installed it, normally C - program files - sega - medieval_2 - mods - third_age - and double click on ThirdAge.bat to run the mod...

you can also select it and creat a shortcut and drag this to your desktop...

Mostly yes, there are still some little voice things from vanilla medieval, but they are worked on and some will stil be improved etc...

but a lot of the voice work (for example trolls, orcs and uruks sound like they should sound ;-))

i think this mod is fantastic but i'm on my first campaign as gondor (on easy, I'm not that good with economy and stuff) but i keep having trouble with the trolls they just keep smashing my troops to bits including the elite ones and neither arrow nor javeline or spear or even ballista bolts have any affect on them and i hate how they can climb ladders it's just crazy and i reckon completely unbalanced but until they fix this can anyone give me any tips on how to put them down quickly

i have installed version 1.1 and there were 4 armies of crossbow units just fireing only on this one group of trolls, and they really killed them- no "fake" here ^^And yes i think they also placed the stakes...
