I tell you what, I get really tired of seeing the same 'ol styling on todays cars and suv's day after day. At least they make vehicles like this to break the boredom. It's nice to see something different on the road for a change!
@marcalin1995 they look similar because the guy who designed the PT Cruiser designed the HHR as well. he also designed the current Malibu and head's Cadillac i believe...

my hhr stalls all the time. It goes thru rotors faster than oil. The shifter broke and I could go into any gear at any time. A friends shifter broke and her key locked up in the ignition. Do a web search for hhr stalls. There are hundreds like me stuck with this travesty of a car. gm needs to go away forever. I hope they do not get bailed out.

Yeah, I'm not big on any GM cars. I own a Pontiac Grand Am, guzzles gas like there's no tomorrow!!! Guess all GM's do!!! Next car I'm purchasing is Toyota, or Honda!!!
Have you had any steering problems with your Chevy HHR?
The Chevy HHR and Saturn Ion have the EXACT same defective power steering systems as the Chevy Cobalt and Pontiac G5, but GM is currently only recalling the Cobalt and G5.
The government won't order a recall of the Chevy HHR until a certain number of accidents happen and complaints are filed with NHTSA.
Before the recall, Cobalt and G5 owners were being charged $900 to $2,500 to have their power steering systems repaired.
this is the car that tryed to be everything but ended up being nothing. its not an SUV so you cant go offroad or tow anything. its not a minivan so you can fit a bunch of peaple in it. its not fast. doesent get the best MPG. doesnt look cool. can anoyone tell me why they would want this car?
@motocrazy150 because it gets great gas millage, is compact so it can easily fit in parking places in cities (i would know, i commute to Detroit every day), offers GREAT storage space for a car it's size, is safe (5 stars for front, rear, and side crashes and 4 for roll over), great quality, and is a real head turner when clean. don't judge a car until you give it a try, it sure surprised me when i test drove it. picked it over the Dodge Charger and haven't regretted that choice once.
Just an over glorified PT cruiser....Send this idea back to Chrysler and bring back the PT cruiser.

Man, I love the HHR. If I had $12,000, I would totally get one.
