  • I love this. It is exactly true - I DO feel like a victim when I'm really angry at someone, and I feel immediately better turning it around.

  • IMO, everything counterbalances, existing on its opposite: part of a whole. Anger without its opposite ("Calmness" etc) wouldn't exist. You touched on Anger, but what about its uses and degrees? Anger when threatened, exhausted, defiance? Benefits of anger? Recognition of anger as good. Why is it there? Identifying it as part of the positive way to the opposite? The initial step to forgiving which is truly forgetting..and immersion, not escapsim, as essential. BTW Thank you for making me think!

  • Hey there Jon, great video, as always.

Do you think perhaps it would be good to clarify that there can be a difference between suppressing anger and genuinely letting go of it? I think some people may not understand that forgiveness and letting go of anger from a standpoint of "I'm going to let this go because I'm a better person" is not as powerful as genuinely reaching a place of true forgiveness. At least in my opinion- I'm no expert.

  • GOD BLESS YOU!!! THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU WOW YOU HAVE OPENED MY EYES =D.

  • LOL im so happy

  • 2:18 reminds me to AngerFist.

Nice video anyway. It really helps.

  • This video is amazing:O

  • What if someone calls u bad things and beat u up and humiliate u in front of everyone and u dont get chance to beat him up and there may be chance of losing a scholar ship if u go up to that person and beat him up cuz u will show that ur are trouble maker too how could u let go of that anger and if u dont beat him up u will feel weak or afraid

  • Thank you you are a great and beyond that to sit down and encourage ppl takes some time. Thank You

  • 'anger' can also be the age old mask for 'fear' to, good video.

  • omg I just seen this video it is so hard to forgive I cryd my but of when he was talking because it makes soo much sence nothing will cure what that person ever did it's been 10 years I am only 22 a full pardon without that person even knowing seems so hard my heart is emotionally torn fucked up my relations ships with my "FAMILY"

and mostly myself how can I talk to this person without getting angry and without a physical altercation???

  • @yahairajvd1 I understand. It wasn't always easy for me to do this either. Here's a perspective that may help: In every interaction, you are either in the weak position, the strong position, or the neutral position. BUT...anytime you are angry or frustrated you are actually in the weak position (regardless of how it seems). The person who is smiling and comfortable with things is ALWAYS in the strong position. Showing forgiveness to others (even when they don't deserve it) takes back your power.

  • @yahairajvd1 i have the exact same problems BUT im sorting myself out now, and going threw my feelings and realising how its done wat its done to me, and wat he says here about feeling angry u put urself into more of those situations... that is so true if u dont let go of it and stand up for urself! do wat u need to do for urself in the most positive way! and i have a problem with allowing myself to FEEL Happy within myself i feel like its cause i allowed other people to make me feel dat way???

  • Thank you so much !!!!! Wonderful

  • Thank you so much !!!!!

  • This is not really true... All emotions are useful and help us adapt to our environment.... Anger shows us for example that someone may be crossing our boundries...this is information to us... Now to be STUCK in anger is another story..... You can feel anger without staying there...to repress it could cause a whole array of problems...like some have the hypothesis that repressed anger causes depression...

To try to eliminate anger all together is something that cant be done altogether..

  • @createfate12 We're in agreement here. My view is that letting go of anger is more useful than being "stuck" in it.

  • Jon,

I've found every one of your videos VERY helpful. Thanks !

FYI I bought your "mood shift" audio, and let it play as background while I'm working on the compuer. Been doing this for a few months now.

IT WORKS ! I still have financial situations to change, but I don't really have any anxiety about it ........my confidence level has increased sharply !

I also bought the "millionare mindset " and play that as backgound as well, and see more opportunites every day.

    NLP WORKS!

  • Love this - its very true. Difficult to do at times esp with family members who continue to repeat same old patterns of behaviour. Sometimes I just don't want to keep on forgiving over and over again!!!!! But I get it. Do it for myself. I get it.
