My stupid ex says it will blow a man in half....without any special ammo...feet away....
And that because a scout once told him that he saw a guy get shot in the leg with it and the leg was gone.Ergo it shoots a leg in half, it MUST shoot a human torso with all it's fleshy parts, tendrils and other tough shit.
Would somebody help me prove my point or otherwize tell me how I was wrong?
and people runn around like rambo with these in modern warfare..... yeah right. did you seriously ignite that car with those rounds holy fuck. talk about lighting a motherfucker up.
Good question, im not really sure if the version the US and other military's use today are the same M2 50cal. as the oens used in WWII. I wouldnt be surprised if it was still in service!
The M2 is still very much in service, and deadly as ever. It is mounted on M1 tanks, as well as just about every armored personnel carrier, not to mention it is still regularly used on tripods for command post defenses.
@LuxuryAndExotics Oh it most certainly is still in active service, it's still mounted on Hummvees, it's design may have changed slightly, but it is still in active military service.

Pyrofreak321 1 year ago
@Pyrofreak321 no it's not you :) MG42 shoots around 1200 RPM i think while a .50 cal does 700-800 ish i bet
