I like how you call it the tree of life and it actually looks like a tree with the entangling roots and such. I never viewed a placenta in such a way before. I have alot more respect for it now.

I love your video, it truly is a blessing to have a child. You are a strong women having a child at home. My son is almost 5months I had him in hostpital with meds, Oh there was pain though hours of it. Thank You for sharing.

Hey, where did you get that scale? My last two births were UC and I had a digital fish scale but I found it to be inaccurate. It seemed to change it's mind the more times I used it. Thanks

So beautiful, thanx for sharing this video. I love the placenta part! And I wanted to know where you got that scale? My husband and I are planning to do an unassited homebirth as well but we don't know where to get a scale that really accurate and not too expensive. Can you help us?

check any sporting goods store. ours (the one shown) actually turned out to be a really cheap fish scale so we ended up bringing baby to my previous midwife's office days later to get a more accurate reading. if you know any midwives, most are very generous and may loan you one. good luck!

This is amazing! I am interested in an unassisted birth so I typed it in the Youtube search and this was the 3rd video to come up. The amazing thing is that Jude River is the name we have chosen if we give birth to a boy.
