Geddy Lee looks so bored, only having to concentrate on one instrument as opposed to playing bass, synthesizer, foot pedals, and sing all in one song. Haha
@Pandaman1551 No, definitely not. If you watch the original video recorded at Le Studio, the strumming is the same. Alex can strum alot faster than that. Just listen to the opening flamenco on La Villa Strangiato .
Yeah, it seems that they wanted to improved the video not the song, which comes definitely from the original album. Nevertheless they almost got me. Long Live Rush!!
i THINK THATS NEAT THEM PLAYING THE ORIGINAL DRUMS IN PRESENT DAY, ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS. CALL ME STUPID BUT i DID NOT REALIZE UNTIL RECENTLY THAT " yyz " WAS THE AIRPORT CODE FOR MONTREAL. KINDA COOL.....
It's not a "live" performance. It's just showing them playing over the original studio track. You can definitely see how Neil has changed certain drum parts considerably.
maybe it's a video demo, you know, when you want to get some occasionnal gigs

they are also ( lip)synching the studio recording!
where are the keyboards and missing drum mics!
oh, there are a few drum mics, but not enough for a studio recording!
and it sounds well processed, and the guitar parts are exactly the ones on the album!
