iPod transition tutorial: Start a composition and add the slide transition.

Mask the iPod screen and change the type to subtract.

Drag the composition into the main composition and put the layer under the iPod layer and fit to the iPod.

Keyframe the zoom into the screen until you see the clip at full size.

Have fun. (You may want to motion track the clip composition if there is movement)
