i cant seem to find any telecasters with rosewood necks! are they hard to come by or what?

They just aren't common at the lower price levels. You could get a standard and get a warmoth neck, or for about $700USD there are Tele's with rosewood necks.

no, they don't have the line.

It's called a skunk stripe, and no, they haven't got it because 62 RI is supposed to be a period correct guitar. 62 guitars didn't have skunk stripes. Try looking for 57', they did :)

The next thing up from that baby is a custom shop, japenese are so much more better quality then the americans. minus the electrics. I got a tele identical but in red with texas spcs and i wouldn't trade it for the world! Have you changed the wiring out of interest? If its still got the crap jap pots that would be the next thing to improve an already great tone =]

Try to complete the chord with your ring finger, because you are forcing your pinky to do too much force (and torsion). In a few years you can get tendinosis like Ynwie.
