This had so many fun and innovative-looking things in it. That hang gliding looks especially awesome. Don't get me wrong, BFD was great and I'm glad it happened, but this would've been so much fun too. I'm sure of it.

If you knew the full story you'd know the stamper brothers-the owners of RARE-sold their 51% of th company to Microsoft and because Nintendo didn't want to work with their rivals they really had no choice but to sell their 49% of the company. This game really looks really fun.

I can see they have some things from here into Bad Fur Day. Like some of Conker's gestures and even how he run (on two) and jumps. I saw one clip where Conker was running while being chased by a dinosaur. He was running like Bad Fur Day Conker when Conker is panicking as he runs.

This looks alot like a 3D version of Conker Pocket Tales for the Game Boy Color.

Alot of the moves you see here were derived from that, like when Conker spun and buried underground.

Also, some of the animations were transfered to Bad Fur day, such as when he was running.

At the time CBFD(2001) its script, voice acting and animation where top of the game. Not a bad feat then for aging tech in 2001!

Infact the Xbox version features the exact same animation only with a smoother framerate so thats saying something

As much as Conker's Bad Fur Day humour was a revelation the first time I played it, and it is probably true to say that Rare had already done a fair share of very cute platformers on the N64, I find it impossible not to take a shine to the more innocent, energetic, colourful game shown here. What happened to some of the ideas here?
