For anyone who's stuck on this boss I found the strategy I used on him to be really effective. First I used Red Nocturne to increase the damage by fire attacks do. Then I stack with my decks with all fires and then just keep on using Firaga on him and also having some ethers and elixirs in it will be good too

I know it's been 2 years since you posted these videos but I just wanted say that I used to play this game a lot. And then I got to this point and I just couldn't beat Vexen. I think I tried multiple times. I don't know why but he was just really hard. But I played it so much that the speaking part before the fight I knew almost word for word. So, from this point on, I don't know what to expect. =P Also, I didn't even know you could get Pluto cards. I think that's cool.

If you played CoM on the GBA, you learn not to expend all your cards in sleights right away, like Cyberman does in this. And you always keep a Hi-poition(9) card at the back so you can get them all back :)

well...maybe because of your health or that you use premium cards and firaga burst. Having all premium cards isn't a good idea. Once you use one, it won;t reload. Also, Vexen can easily move away from Firaga Burst unless he knocked out. Get some cures and stun him with strike raid then attack. Also, get some potions or Exiler or so.
