@Maudster69 ya it sounds pretty good but I have a completely different exhaust now on it and it sounds damn good cause i have 2.5' piping from the manafold back.

@BCAlipine Its all custom. I got this little tire shop that also does exhaust systems and they made the piping and everything for me but the tip is from HKS and that is what caust me.

Well it depends on what you want to do to it because all i had done to my car at this time was just the custom exhaust, and the piping for it only caust me $119 but the HKS muffler is what got me it caust 275, so all together you are looking at around $400 or maybe even $500 with the prices now a days.

@PurpleDr4nk its just a tuned canister. thats what the brand is. TUNED. the exhaust pipe is 100% stock. i cant remember what size it is, 2" maybe. my canister is a 2 1/2" inlet 3" outlet

I dunno if you can answer this, but is the part number on that tip #31012-BA001? If so, the piping diameter for that tip is 75mm. Slightly larger than 2.5 inches for the piping you have. How did you make this work? It sounds great, and I actually plan on doing something like this to my Cobalt in the near future. Any advice would be great.

@PeachHeadOo It might just be but I dont remember its a HKS exhaust tip and then I just got custom piping put in like this place that does tires also did exhaust systems and they said it was easy but i dont think you should take out the resenator cause I heard those dont sound to pretty. I hope this helped a little oh and I did not get the piping tuned cause they told me i should do that for better HP gains.

@PurpleDr4nk So you you think if I just bought the tip and brought it to a shop that they would do the piping for it? I had no intention of taking out the resonator anyways, makes it smoke really bad. Anyways, thanks for the advice! Now I just gotta get the money for this lol.

@PeachHeadOo Ya Just find a place that does exhaust systems and it will be smooth sailing, and the tip caust more than getting the piping put in for me.

how did you get the HKS to fit? ive looked around and couldnt find that exhaust for a 2.2....it sounds really good lol

@dasmydj88 I bought the HKS tip form HKS and then got this local store down here to custom make my piping for me and they didnt charge me that much at all only like 180 for all of the piping.

@CrudeOctane seriously if you think that everything that looks like that on the back of a car is a fart can you are mistaken, Catbacks have mufflers too and they all look something like that, you cant tell me if i have something like that on my balt and im running custom headers to a catless high flow downpipe, high flow resonator with pipes back to a muffler that its a fart can
