hah 30 seconds? no it does seem like it goes slow but it really only takes like 1 sec approx and it is most fragile when opened but its not like it breaks wen u open it...
The only thing I don't like about mine is how fragile it feels with the dule sliders. I dropped my ONCE and it broke it completely.... but my second one is holding up nicely! :P
It's a looker, still. Not many people have it and the darker colors won't show scratches and dents. Maroon is pretty! :)

SCREW YOU! it's not that thick and it isn't as horrible as people say it is! So what if it's thicker? How else would they be able to fit the qwerty keyboard and the regular number pad in there? I just bought the duo its a tight phone but gave me problems 3 days in: It got stuck on silent mode ( everytime you try to switch it to something else it just imediatly goes abck to silent) and the homepage.exe constantly gets an error.. forcing me to restart it.
I compared them today at the at&t store, and the LG shine is slightly bigger, but a lot thinner. It's hard to judge the size of the duo until you actually see it first hand, to me, it looks very largy and bulky from it's pictures, but in person, it'a actually a very nice sized phone, not too large or thick in my opinion.
duo its less of a chance of breaking when it falls. it is easter to use, and i personally like the duo slider its verry different, and its just (in my veiw) cooler
I accually have both cells Anyway,the blackjack is thin but wide and looong.i didnt like it too much, because its more busness than ur normal texting and calling. the duo is a bigger hit for teens. but it is thick, but convinetly short. the duoslider is fun and gives a twist with texting and calling. they both have windows 6 mobile. same thing but on the duo it accually makes sence! both AWSOME cells but you wont be disapointed with eather of them. just go to an AT&T store and check out the two!

I just bought the duo its a tight phone but gave me problems 3 days in: It got stuck on silent mode ( everytime you try to switch it to something else it just imediatly goes abck to silent) and the homepage.exe constantly gets an error.. forcing me to restart it.
(a lemon or its just a crappy phone idk)

I compared them today at the at&t store, and the LG shine is slightly bigger, but a lot thinner. It's hard to judge the size of the duo until you actually see it first hand, to me, it looks very largy and bulky from it's pictures, but in person, it'a actually a very nice sized phone, not too large or thick in my opinion.

duo its less of a chance of breaking when it falls. it is easter to use, and i personally like the duo slider its verry different, and its just (in my veiw) cooler

I accually have both cells Anyway,the blackjack is thin but wide and looong.i didnt like it too much, because its more busness than ur normal texting and calling. the duo is a bigger hit for teens. but it is thick, but convinetly short. the duoslider is fun and gives a twist with texting and calling. they both have windows 6 mobile. same thing but on the duo it accually makes sence! both AWSOME cells but you wont be disapointed with eather of them. just go to an AT&T store and check out the two!
