Don't know about most of you, but imo Science only PROVES God... lol. "The odds are astronomical" is a severe understatement. You look at some of Hubble's pictures, go read an article on birth on Wikipedia, look at the growing process of a tree, find the number of different species on the Earth, count the billions of planets and stars in the sky, and explain to me how all of this "randomly happened"

I think the comment that no one religion could really explain Gods Awesome power, would be correct. I do believe they all bring it together for us to be in awe of his intelligence though. It doesn't matter what the religion, color of someones skin is, or the place where you dwell. The Western scientific tradition believes that creation spontaneoulsy occurred through one single mighty explosion that unintendedly created time, all of the matter, light, electromagnetism and the strong & weak nuclear forces in the universe. A perfect world would be meaningless to Him. If someone says they love you, wouldn't it be more meaningful to know that they love you because they choose to, and not because they have to? There is no other proof on how this was created. The universe, every little detail in our body's. The DNA that makes everyone different, the genome, the chromosomes. Best belief is god.

You are right, not god, but without the true GOD we would not even have scientists. There are only two ways this could all happen. One is a great big 'accident'! The other is by a super wise and awesome Higher Power that most people call "God". My vote is on the second.

Now I see where you get you ideas. What IF I could show you directly from the bible that science is RIGHT ON TARGET and correct? Here is the thing: If a person refuses to use science, history and archology in their bible study, they are fooling themselves. ONE group has done this and it is awesome what they have found. A perfect world would be meaningless to Him. If someone says they love you, wouldn't it be more meaningful to know that they love you because they choose to, and not because they have to? Our relationship with God is the exact same. If we were perfect, we would be incapable of not loving Him. The fact that we have a choice not to love Him makes our love more meaningful.
