even though it shows no lag, doesn't mean its not lagging! trust me i play that game enough to understand how it runs. it might show perfect lag for you, but he might be lagging a bit. Which would cause the hits not to register properly.

well it was obviously lagging..... that would be the only reason your hits weren't registering properly. Same deal with the "host shotty" in gears of war. the latency has a huge effect on the hit registry.....regardless of how many bars you have during in game.
