Dvblink does a better implementation of this than the bridge. Also FireSTB is way superior solution than the irblaster. I need to get a camea so I can flim my setup as well.
the media library I have is actually a collection of blu-rays ripped to my various hard drives (1 terabyte drives--15 of them) in iso format with copy protection removed. I use 2 programs to access my blu-rays inside media center. One is "my movies plug-in" and the other one is "OML" (open media library) both programs basically do the same thing but the way they display the collection inside of MCE is different so you really only need one or the other but I just chose both
Hi matey. I see you have been through the process of getting this to work. I have been trying for a little while, actually a few weeks and have not been able to do it. If you can any chance of a video demo on the DVBSBridge for HDPVR process and editing you did for the program guides e.t.c. A dummys guide!! I have almost had enough and want to just sit for an hr and set it up the way I should be able to. Thanks in advance
Hey man, I am trying this right now but I have a question. My HD PVR has a blue light that turns on when in use. How come yours doesn't? and what's that cable coming out from the top of your PVR?
I am scanning channels right now. I hope this works.
I removed the top plastic cover along with the led's on mine and installed a cooling fan and made a plastic mesh cover instead. The wire coming out is the power wire for the cooling fan.
I got it to work man!!! The only thing I don't get, is the Media Library the way you have it. Can I ask you what did you do to have it like this? It looks Awesome man.
Lol. Wife bitching in the background.

Are you using the remote control that comes with the HD-PVR? I am having trouble getting the IR application to work in Windows 7.

How did you set up your hd pvr, did you use a guide somewhere? I want to know how you got the guide to work and if you have a 126 channel limit?

Thanks for the info! One last thing... can you tell me how you got the background photos working that are displayed when you click on a movie?
