  • He's HOT!

  • those cleans are awful

  • Did you hear that the legend himself (Zelezny) would start to train Pitkämäki for the London Olympics?

  • però lavora sodo il ragazzo!! ;D

  • tero hettää tänään 90m

  • I shit my pants today. His single jump is 3.57m; today I just jumped 3.27m with only a single year of javelin training. I aim to be at 3.57m by next year.

  • whats the song name?

  • Senseless musical background and mixing with stupid repeats. Shame you for a good javelist.

  • Jan Zelezny is better ;) THUMBS UP

  • @godsXmadeXme

    Finland have

    -Tero Pitkämäki

    -Teemu Wirkkala

    -Antti Ruuskanen

    -Sampo Lehtola

    -Harri Haatainen

AND ZELESNY WAS BEST! Or not...(Aki Parviainen) was better

  • @andrew9592 apparently 11.30 metres

  • 2:25 how many meters for 3 bounds?

  • Yeah white guys are always stealin niggers music right? FUCK RAPPERS!!!!!!

  • what is the music namne?

  • spear chucker

  • Wtf is this song? Led Zep's Kashmir with some fucking rapper?

  • @iBaNezRG95 nice comment. :))

  • @Ndjumbah Seriously wtf is this ?

  • @iBaNezRG95 i dont know man..believe me i really dont know.. :)

  • i wonder if hes ever had proper training for olympic lifts before. his technique isnt so good

  • I don't see how anyone can say teros on steroids lol he gets tested at what like 15+ meets a year and hasn't failed one! As for his form on the bench it's so shitty lol there's no arguing it

  • Javelin rule! It´s so cool :)

  • To be world best you must sweat ...Am motivated.

  • I know about his success in javelin but when i see hin bench and especially doing the hang clean and the snatch i wonder why he didn't sped some time learning the proper form...

  • @orcanader

Proper form would be more efficient if he was going for lifting competition, sometime it is more important that you move the weight rather than be perfect in form

  • @cutlersize Yeah no doubt. For him it's about the weight, but what I am trying to say is that with proper form he possibly could lift more weight than he does right now ... let#s say maybe he could.

  • @orcanader I Think Pitkamaki did his bench on purpose like that. It is now more a decline bench press than a flat one. And well his snatch technique seems alright. With the power clean I agree that his elbows should be higher. But on the other hand it can be tha with lower weights he has the proper technique and then when he trains with heavy weights he can't fully perform the clean on technique, but just raw power.

  • WoW this guy is amazing. I workout and Train very hard everyday. I am at least two of this guy but to see what he lifts when he worksout is incredible!! I cannot believe that guy is that strong. He is an awesome athlete. WoW!!

  • @asss2grass

He's the ideal build for javelin throwing, any more bulk and, whilst he could get stronger, he'd compromise his speed and overall power

  • are there weight classes in javelin? i don't know why he would want to stay so skinny?

  • @asss2grass but you cant say agianst that he can to lifts heavy weights??

  • @asss2grass Today i was doing a work where we handled with very heavy woods.

i have nice powers actually but i have to say, i am weak in bench pressing but still i am quite strong guy.

  • this guy is so fucking epic man - i watch this video like every morning to a bowl of weed

  • the best athlete in my opinion, behind zelenzy of course :P

  • What style grip does he use?

  • Dude what is this led zeppeling rip off song?

    Nice video though!

  • Hoikassa miehessä paljon voimaa.

Eikä lihakset edes näytä sen isommilta kuin mun lihakset.

    Hieno video.

  • @jstberni u might also want to listen to led zeppelin - kashmir

  • Uauu...Amazing tribute to Tero

    Very inspiring

    Thanks for the video

  • if there is one thing AntillRS said that was true it's that not everyone is able to be a world class javelin thrower or in general a world class athlete... i have trained with some of the world's greatest and even they will admit their hard work was accompanied by something special that not every person possesses

  • @javthrow1991 It's time someone proved that wrong, and made it purely on hard work and determination!

  • Yeah you have to have that little extra thing to sucess at an elite level.

  • AntillRS... Anyone can be that good if they work as hard as the greats. It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think your not.

  • thats absolute rubbish. some people are way more susseptable to injury and similar things like that which may prevent you from getting to the top.

basically what you are saying is that everyone can be as smart as einstein if they put in enough hard work, i honestly doubt that...

  • mmm flat bench turned into decline lol. Good video, solid training

  • @cbouts519 Don't take this the wrong way, but you should learn about powerlifting. even though he is not a powerlifter, this still shows your ignorance about training, honestly. no disrespect, it's simply true. if you are interested, the best in the world is Charles Poliquin. Start with him.

Best of luck to you, bro.

  • @efisgpr Well my "ignorance" of training has nothing to do with me saying that his flat bench turned into a decline. did i say it was wrong? nope, merely stated that it happened.

Also something any athlete and coach should know that no single training method fits everyone. so a lift or variation of that lift may not benefit me the way it does someone else.

So personally I do not feel like I am ignorant at all about training, do i know everything? nope, never claim to

Good luck to you as well

  • He's an beast :O

  • He can lift huge weight but he doesen't look like a bodybuilder? I guess thats just talent.

His muscles are able to do a lot more than the average joe who is of the same size.

  • no heis an athlete hahaha... why do you have to look like bodybuilder to lift much O.o? ceck hammer throwers javelin throwers and diskus .. they just get strong :)

  • I understand that. What I'm saying is that I could train with just as much effort as him but i will never be able to throw a javelin nearly as far. It's just he, and other like him, have been gifted a talent that no matter how hard an average joe like me trains, i will never be able to replicate him.

  • well, you cant just throw 90m even if you are the strongest man on earth, you have to have technique too

  • not with that attitude you wont

  • Maybe, but throwing over 90 meters isnt something everyones body is cut out for. But of course, you are totally qualified to lecture me on the shortcomings of my mental attitude, because i'm sure you are an elite athlete who has an Olympic medal tucked away somewhere. In your little head

  • lecture? and you know nothing about the size of my head haha

  • ed!

  • yo man hahah

  • Its down to the fact that the training he is doing is basically for power and not muscle size. Yes he is strong but what make him special is that he can move the weight at a faster speed than others.

  • Point. I guess thats what i'm getting at. That standing triple jump is what i found most impressive.

  • Pitkämäki is the best!!! 5/5!

  • Andreas thorkilsen is the best

  • what is the name of the song? please write back

  • some lame cover of kashmir by led zeppelin

  • A shitty rap cover of Led Zeppelin - Kashmir.

  • Comment removed

  • i had no respect for javelin throwers until i saw this video. what a beast

  • i so wish he was my coach

  • that jump........omfg it was insane....now i know why i don't throw 90 meteres :O

  • you have to train like a bodybuilder or something... just for javellin. thats how much it takes. 3:02 thats heavy move...

  • trust me, they dont train like bodybuilders

  • YES man i can jump 2.50 when im standing and he can jump 3.50 haha

  • so that was 3.50 eh? nice :) now i know how far i have to jump :P

  • que :P?

  • Tero you ROCK!!

  • Just Great!!!

  • that's wonderful man !

  • powerful dude.

  • alway when i´m looking this vid, i wanna go outside to train ;)

  • @nordicairglider I really have the same^^ i use this vid to stimulate myself to train again:D:D

  • It's Puffy. PSH, obviously. Can you guess he title. The background track is taken from kashmir. I think it's on the Godzilla album.

  • A Led Zeppelin song from the beginning ;)

  • his broad jump was RIDICULOUS!
