Look at Palin's family for a great example of how lack of sex-ed can lead to unplanned parenthood. Sensitivity training probably doesn't work though. As far as the "Good teaching is challenging students fixed beliefs" is only as benign or evil as you decide to make it. It's only a bad idea if you're trying to make your children exactly like you. Hearing any one in education not want children to be challenged is beyond my comprehension.

ps. i like that she seems shocked that someone would be bold enough to sway children to any decision they want in an hour, hasn't she been in a philosophy class in higher education? With a great professor the debate should have you considering all sides of an argument until you come to a conclusion. Sadly if the students have never challenged or been challenged, like charlottes so afraid of, they won't know how to handle a debate.

I do agree there is a dumbing down of society.

they dont teach kids to be gay. you cant make someone gay, its something you are born with. are you people homophobic? who gives a fuck about gay people? they arent hurting anyone and have been around as long as sex has. back in roman time they didnt even have a concept of "gay". sex was sex. you are the ones who are being brain washed. they are filling you with fear and hate, you are tools.

Home school your children, even if you have to scrimp and save - do whatever it takes, you'll never regret it, and they will be far better educated, way less likely they will be stolen by CPS, and they won't be subject to all those terrible influences.
