  • I remember watching this, it was very moving.

  • 6:19 you can see ALI in background :D

  • is that Ali at 6:21 ?

  • Is the first clip from the Frazier Ali match up? Ali was knocked out in the 15:th round and lost by points. The greatest of all time, the real champ..? I don't know, but certainly the most entertaining boxer in history

  • @perfuzz Just to correct you, Ali was not knocked out by frazier in the 15th rd. He was knocked "down", but got up and lasted all 15 rds. He then beat Frazier the next 2 times they fought.

  • @iamtman1 - True, I blame typo. Looking at the hook flooring Ali... kudos to everyone getting up after a blow like that.

  • Never realized how short Ali was comparing him to Lennox and Evander.

  • @949galaxy

Ali was bigger than Evander in his prime. As he grew older he became shorter. Happens with all men.

  • @truebeliever786 Your saying ali shrunk in height i think i just nearly died with laughter

  • @Jonezaay

He did. Look, he was 1.91 before, i.e. 6 feet 3 inches. Now look at him, he's not so big.

When you age, you become smaller, most of the time. My dad was a lot bigger and now he isn't. That's what happens.

  • @truebeliever786 i think your just trying to prove to yourself that your dad wasnt a small man.

  • @DanEvPro Its the facts man...

  • @Jonezaay people do shrink dude, even during one day, bodylength varies slighty

  • @949galaxy Ali is 6'3 .Lennox Lewis 6'5 ,Evander Hollyfield is 6'1.

  • evey time i see ali the term "Great" enters my mind and my heart skips a beat!

  • 4:32 That's Naseem Hamed.

  • @truebeliever786, yes even Prince Nasseem has to bow to the Greatest

  • @truebeliever786 Hamed sure does have some ears on him.

  • @949galaxy

Well you can't really blame him. It's like blaming a Jew for having a big-nose. It's not very nice.

  • Plus the sparring and years in the amateurs, that is going to screw things up. Throw on top of that the fact that most of these guys do not have a whole lot of smarts to start off with, then throw in drugs/alcohol and you have a very damaged human being.......pretty sad.

  • with that tyson/bruno match, it confirms that bruno was too nice to be a boxer. you can see he really hurt him but just couldn't hit him. if he had s axked him that would have made him

  • at about 6:22 is that Ali walking behind John Inverdale????

  • Ali and Meldrick Taylor are the most glaring examples I can think of, when it comes to brain damage from boxing. But, there are thousands of others. It is not a YES or NO thing. Getting hit in the head is going to kill brain cell. It just depends on how many are killed and what other damage happens to your brain.

  • @tickyul ye meldrick sounds awful now

  • @Blackjesus3 I know, it is really sad. I hope that he has set aside money for his future. That guy had the fastest hands I have ever seen on any boxer. The Chavez fight broke him though, never the same after that.

  • @tickyul yea i think hes broke now :S and ye he was really fast but 1 of the fastest i ever saw is roy jones and meldrick also

  • @Blackjesus3 While, I think Taylor was faster than Jones, but, jones had a lot more starch on his punches. How the hell did Meldrick burn through all of that dough he made? I assume he had a whole bunch of leeches hanging around when he was raking in the bucks. I also have heard that Riddick Bowe is pretty punchy now...and broke.

  • @tickyul yupps drugs he was doing crack :S and i dont know what else even look at mike tyson 300 milll he made and it went he was bankrupt 2

  • @Blackjesus3 Yeah, tyson takes the cake, I saw that one coming though. I mean, how many fucking million dollar cars can you buy? Too bad these guys don't put away their first few million into a lifetime retirement annuity (I think these are protected, even in the case of bankruptcy) that would pay them a good income for life. Instead they buy crap jewelry that just loses value, cars and oversized houses.

  • @tickyul yupp he bought over 100 cars :S he use2 have 20 lamos at 1 time over 20 houses no wonder he went broke :S

  • @Blackjesus3 But a lot of boxers and other athletes are broke a couple of years after they finish their careers. What is the reason for that, lack of discipline, dumb, I really do not know. Remember when Floyd Mayweather had 9 million dollars worth of jewlery stolen from his house? I mean, what does someone do with that much jewlery and why the hell would they keep it in their house?

  • @tickyul nope i never heard that about floyd and its because people buy things they dont need and over spend

  • @Blackjesus3 Well, I guess that you sleep in the bed you make for yourself. I really do not have a lot of tears to shed for athletes who blow all of their money....then want people to feel sorry for them. Riddick Bowe made 100 million, but, he filed for bankruptcy in 2005, and he is punch drunk to boot. And everybody knows about Tyson.

  • @tickyul yupps i agree dont spend your money silly mike bought over 100 cars he use to have 20 lambos lined up thats silly and ye riddick made tons of money same with evander and now hes broke same with tommy hearns

  • @Blackjesus3 I think they get their brains scrambled and it lowers both their inhibitions when it comes to spending and common sense when it comes to life. They will be fucked when they are 50 and that dementia really starts kicking in hard.......and they are fucking broke.

  • @tickyul ye that might be it about 60 punches to the head in just 3 minutes can do that

  • ali bumaye!

  • this is bearly about muhammad ali!
