@Stedal1978 No i got the point of it, to see how well it plays on your computer, but i don't see why they wouldn't just put a short mission from the game in the demo, or Mercenaries with one map and one character choice for the demo =/ just saying it would have been better.

Yes, he has a quad core processor in his machine. On your machine it would be pretty tough running RE5 in any sort of high resolution. That 9400GT is really holding you back, and the Celeron doesn't help things.

so jealous of the desktop counter part. is this test done with vync on or off? i do mine with vync on and get 31fps average with all high settings, med shadows. no aa. u lot can whack up the aa and high shadows and deliver 49fps.

So far all Capcoms in house developed games have had full PC control support, but you can clearly tell that however did those becnhmarks did them on a controller, so I'm not sure.

maxed out everything could mean anything, what resolution are you playing on and are you running DX9 and running everything on HIGH or running DX10 and everything on Ultra High!

for your gpu you'll have to download the evga persision tuning kit or whatever its called. for cpu its different on every system, you have to go into the bios-advanced system settings-then change your core voltages and your bus speed.

I'm running Fraps as well to record, which knocks off about 5-20 FPS. Normally in 1280x800 I get a full 60fps, which I'm locked at in the options, so I'd probably get more if I disabled it, but then it runs too fast.

I get it all over windows and in anything that tries to identify my CPU. It's due to my motherboard. While the Bios is compatible with the processor it has no chip ID for it in the current version, which is dated 2007. I doubt there will be another Bios release for it so I'll just have to put up with it.

If I run it at 1280x800 like this video without fraps I get a straight 55-60 fps (I have it limited to 60fps in the options or it speeds up too much) if I run it in 1680x1050 I get about the same frames as I get in this video.

Fps in this case stands for Frames Per Second, which is what the numbers represent.

The belief is that the human eye cannot pick up the difference after 30 fps, not sure if it's correct though.
