  • is not christian. the old testament refers to judaism judaism was politheistic, hebrews worshiped many gods including Molech, Baal, AShtarte, El... Christianity comes from the new testament where no reference is made to other gods. Jews have introduced their evil creed into christianity through the OT. jews are the evil cult of the pagan demon god disguised.

  • Oh dear, no. "The way to see the difference is by looking at the verb in the sentence. The Bible (Genesis) starts "Bereshit barah Elohim" - in the beginning God created. Here "barah" = created is singular, which shows that the plural Elohim does not imply more than one god." I quote from a forums friend. Your 'literal' translation really means 'basic' with no reference to context or grammar.

  • they all are called ( dutch ) afgoden . And yes Christ was with The Father when They created the world , cause Christ is The Living Word with Whom all things were created . Bless you all.

  • read th quraan >

    u will know all trues

becouc it is last book from our god

  • "Why is not the most logical answer not the correct one?" I can answer that.

matters of faith, of love and most times heroic courage tend to completely kick logic to the curb, its just part of human nature. We are stubborn things to be certain.

  • Jehovah is the one who is, the one and only "I AM" (Ex 3:14; Mark 13:6; John 6:35,8:12,23-24,28,58,9:39,10:9-11, 11:25,13:13,19,14:6,18:5-8,37; Rev 1:18, 21:6, 22:13, 16).That is the meaning of the word. He is "... the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty" (Rev 1:8). Unlike us He is "... holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come" (Rev 4:8). "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:3)

  • @RealWorldNewsOrg almost all in the new testament. about about "god" writen by men.

  • @MidniteCrusaider "A book about.."* gah spelling error... My apologies, in my defense i did not sleep last night.

  • @MidniteCrusaider:

My friend, you have fallen into the deception.

All of the NT was written by men, but it was all authored by God.

"For there are three that bear Record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7)

"For ever, O LORD, thy Word is settled in heaven." (Psalm 119:89)

"He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My words, hath one that judgeth him: the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." (John 12:48)

  • @RealWorldNewsOrg and how do you know it was authored by "god"? were you there when a divine being sat there and lectured on what to write? How do you know it wasn't just a bunch of guys that wanted attention? The answer is, you don't. now if you respond you're most likely going to throw up some religious quote, but that's just avoiding the question. You choose to believe in this stuff. I don't. From what I see, the new testament is just some guys writing what they think sounds good. No contest.

  • MidniteCrusaider:

How do I know there is electricity and air? Because electricity works and air keeps us alive. How do I know the pyramids had designers? Because they have designs. One does not have to be present or to see something to know it to be fact. I know God a authored the Bible, because of the fulfilled prophecies contained in it, because of the many proven scientific facts in it, because when I received Jesus Christ, He changed this vile sinner and gave me a new heart just as He said.

  • @RealWorldNewsOrg those examples do not work. You are here currently for electricity and air. the pyramids do not because we know that SOMEONE built the pyramids, but not WHO. same for your book. Prophecies: Roddenberry told of a compact hand held flip phone, a piece of plastic you used for money, etc. does that make him a divine being? and the current Nostradamus subject, so far he has been right. It all boils down to that's what YOU have chosen to believe. that doesn't make it true for us all.

  • @MidniteCrusaider :

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (Jn 3:17-21; cf Rom 1:18-32) "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world." (Jn 8:12)

  • @RealWorldNewsOrg Oh boy, quotes! my turn: "now if you respond you're most likely going to throw up some religious quote, but that's just avoiding the question." -Yours truly The only truth I see for miles Is that I have the power to make my own choices, and I choose to exercise that power. I am proud to be the person I am, capable to have my OWN thoughts, for our thoughts form the universe. I do not choose to stand in the light, for it would blind me to the path I walk

  • My answers are merely Scriptural with terms correctly defined.

Webster's 1828 Dictionary: "EN'TITY ... Being; existence. ... A real being, or species of being." Almighty God and man created in His image are both one entity consisting of three parts.

The other entities are angels also created by God, 1/3 of which rebelled against Him. Lucifer (shining one) became Satan (the enemy) and others became devils. These are your false gods. Honest examination of the Word explains all your questions.

  • The Word of God interprets its self.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness ... So God created man in his own image ..." (Gen 1:26-27)

"... I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved ..." (1 Thess 5:23)

One man, three parts; One God, three parts.

Truth is not difficult to understand.

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 Jn 5:7)

"And the Word was made flesh ..." (Jn 1:14)

  • Your arguments/excuses are based on interpretation when mine is based on literal translation = I have the high ground. Thanks for your comments/input. Paul.

  • For example its ridiculous to propose the first line in The Bible means the three entities of God created the heavens and earth when it would have been a simple exercise of placing the word God into the sentence. When it says Gods it means Gods get over it. Think about what you are saying? The Holy Ghost created the heavens and the earth etc what next? The blessed apparition made the moon? We are made in the image of a ghost?

  • What is it with religious apologists? Why is not the most logical answer not the correct one? Stop offering convoluted explanations which deliberately ignore the simplest & easiest translation of what is written. Thats to say a literal translation of the word of Yahweh who unquestionably talks about other God-entities in the pages of The Bible for anyone who cares to read them.

  • True Eloim means plurial of personnes. This is why I believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) God the Holy Spirit !!!

But the three are ONE for they are not divided !

  • shows that the passage is merely clarifying the role of the persons of the Father and Son.

The Dagon reference does not refer to the actual being, but rather the stone idol.

And you can pray to something that doesn't actually exist, in response to Exodus 31:14. You make it the ruler of your life, thus, it is your god.

Same thing with the Deuteronomy 10:17 reference.

Furthermore, the Genesis 1:26 reference merely proves that God is a Trinity. There is one God, but He has three parts to Him.

  • God (pl.) refers to the three persons of the Trinity. God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While the Son was not referred to in the OT in many passages referencing God, the Holy Spirit and the Father were both mentioned in the Bible. Furthermore, all three were of the same mind; they thought in the exact same way. There is therefore only one mind that is God.

The context of "yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist," (I Cor. 8)... (cont)

  • That is correct "Gods"..God the Father "YHWH" and "Jesus/Yeshua" the Christ, His son.The Natural Jews did not understand that YHWH had a son.

  • You have GOT to change this music.

    It ruins the entire video.

  • Turn it down fella. I rather like it.

  • I like it, too.

But I'm willing to bet that a solid percentage of the people who view this are going to be turned off by the music.

    Just sayin'.

  • @CanterburyAtheists crap music

  • Good content! The music was a bit distracting/repetitive and some of the text was hard to read, though.

Welcome to YouTube! I've seen your blog posts on Planet Atheism and have read them from time to time. Good stuff. :)
