I've always thought that Jess was only brought in to fill the void Tristan made when he left. And that what Jess had with Rory should have been Tristan's. It was more like Jess was a Tristan prototype.

exactly! thats what i always thought! they were both really similar too, the total bad boys. thats probablly why i loved tristen and when he left i loved jess lol never liked dean and logan was just terrible. tristen and jess were the best!

no i agree with will0wmedia, jess was like a tristan prototype except the non rich blonde version. i never liked logan, he made rory someone i didnt like. plus the only thing he had in common with tristan was the fact that they were both blonde and rich. but its all people personal preferrances of course :)

thats true. i just thought jess was too pissy all the time and there was always something wrong. tristan was more playful. but logan did make rory something no one liked at first...but then the second time around it changed so i lightened up to him a lot. i just think in general she seemed to like boys with more of an edge after dean
