  • So he saved his best songs for the reissue? And I've been a fan of White Zombie since 1992. I liked everything up to Hellbilly Deluxe 2. No matter how hard I tried it just didn't feel right. Every time John 5 joins a band they start to suck. The new tracks sound more "zombie-esque" at least. And Rob can do whatever he wants in the end. It is HIS band I know. But for fuck's sake, if you're gonna experiment, at least stay close to your roots.

  • Finally a song I like off this release .... and it only took a reissue for that to happen ... of course it probably has a lot to do with the fact that it has a Superbeast feel to it ... Son of Superbeast shall I say .... the rest is [still] garbage though

  • rapping your soul

  • miles and miles above you

  • Tre fuckin' cool

  • All of Zombie's songs are bad-ass

  • i think the biggest problem with this album is people went into it expecting hellbilly delux the 1 or stuff like he did with white zombie and never really aprieciated this album for what it is think of it this way people its not like its chinese democracy

  • i love rob hes twisted one of the top 3 most twisted people next to ozzy and cooper

  • Why do people complain about this album so much??? I loved this album I could almost say it's one of the best. What so bad about it really??? Sure it doesn't sound exactly like White Zombie's first album, but that would suck! All I am trying to say is Rob rocks. He always has always will.

  • @GothHikDarkAnGel I think Mark Morton of LAmb of God said it best. Every fan want you to do what you did one album ago. The only problem is Rob's on Hellbilly 2 and People still want him to make Hellbilly 1 or Sinister Urge. For some reason nobody want Rob to try new things.

  • @Elecktricd00m Right. I have been a fan of Rob Zombie for at least 6 years and I am 11. :) But I love every song I have heard that was done fully by Rob. His movies, especially the ones he made mostly by himself (House of 1000 Corpses & Devils Rejects) are my favorites. Rob would never sell- out or go bad. I love Rob!

    Werewolf, Baby!!!

  • @Elecktricd00m Cool! Fans should like it no matter what. I know that was like 13, 14 years ago. Longer than I have been alive.

  • @Elecktricd00m What this guys said. Rob wants to keep himself fresh. The majority of your new stuff is never going to be as good as your first stuff in the eyes of fans. The fact that Rob is trying new stuff while keeping to the same theme he has for so long is impressive, it places him above other such groups and solo artist.

  • @Elecktricd00m Yea I don't understand that... if they were true fans of Zombie they'd love the direction that he's going in. I even loved Educated Horses, I loved the raw sound of it. It felt grittier. HBD2 IMO was better than the first one... I know I'm going to get alot of flak for this

  • Wow this sounds 100% like his earlier stuff. Love it.

  • The lineup for this track is amazing.

  • even though he doesnt have his industrial style ,his new material is still awesome though

  • the album was good, but like @Killswitch95 said he needs to do more industrial stuff, instead of doing hard rock.

  • @RobDiaz97

HD2 is more metal than hard rock..

  • @feindwalker sorry,my mistake.

  • @RobDiaz97

Nah, it's cool. I'm just pointing that out,.:P

  • check out, Allen Coates on youtube. Broken Man. First video! Pretty cool! Rob Zombie Rocks, Keep it up. Thanks!

  • This is pretty sweet. I didnt know they reissued this album.

  • god i love Zombie, fucking classic shit right here (:

  • his best song since american witch in my opinion. reminds me of his debut album

  • So why didn't the rest of Hellbilly Deluxe 2 sound like this?

  • i know Zombie has John 5 and Joey Jordison but who plays bass?i dont have the cd yet...somebody help me out there in cyberworld?

  • @ozzyFTW1369 I believe it's Piggy D

  • @ozzyFTW1369 Joey isn't with Zombie anymore though

  • @gotsghostrider666 Joey used to be with zombie?

  • @TDK293 Yeah he did the drums on this, Michael and Everything is Boring

  • @ozzyFTW1369 Piggy D is the bassist

  • im seeing him this sunday, sooo stoked! i hope he plays this, im gunna frontflip into his hair and never leave

  • This song is great! I sing it to myself all the time.

  • thats the shit

  • ROB ZOMBIE YOURE SEXY :)

  • I like this song...

It reminds me of bunnies and unicorns and the wonderful Babysitters Club books...

  • @masercot haha ur one funny mofo. need more stuff in these comments to make u smile, not all this negative shit most ppl seems to post. cool stuff mate :-)

  • Rob Zombie needs to write more shit like this, complete badass, these 3 songs on the reissue make the rest of the album seem mediocre. nonetheless a great album, far better Educated Horses, a few not so great songs on the album, but the reissue made it up for those couple.

  • since the guitarist left rob zombie, its not rob zombie anymore

  • @smoku46 who j5 he didnt leave

  • he shoulda done his whole album with Joey!

  • The guitar riff starting f.e. in 0:21 is REALLY ugly in my opinion, it doesn't match to the beat at all. But anyways: This song really completed Hellbilly Deluxe 2 for me. Awesome!

  • sounds a lot like his old stuff. AMAZING!!!

  • shriek the lips across the ragged tounge hahaha

  • OMFG the guitar in this song is enough to make every metal fan cream their pants! Rob Zombie impressed me with a few of his songs off his new album ... brought him back to his original sound. But then I heard this song on the Delux album and it blew me out out of the water!

  • MANSON FAMILY FTW

  • awesome DEVLISH tune, love it

  • Such a meaty beast of a song!

  • rob zombie is bad ass ROB ZOMBIE RULES

  • man he shoulda done the whole album with Joey Jordinson! this is the shit i wanna hear!

  • i don't care much if the album sucked.. Rob Zombie is the shit and a god no matter what

  • This was the best song on the album, the rest of this shit album sucked.

  • Since ou put these songs up I think ima go buy the reissue of hellbilly deluxe 2. thank you @Elecktricd00m

  • I seriously cream my jeans every time I hear this song. This just goes to show that Zombie still has it in him.

  • i get an eargasm from the song

  • omg so good

  • John 5....Pure Amurican!

  • thats more like dats the stuff he should be playin ........ im going 2 see him in finaly

  • favorite song on album got it for christmase keep kickin ass zombie

  • helter skelter rob zombie version

  • This is the best song on the disc, and the album is very, very kickass! He made a good choice making this the new opening cut and having it go into "Jesus Frankenstein" - flows very well into the rest.

With John 5, Piggy D and now the amazing Mr Jordison amongst his ranks, the next album should top these last two, great albums. "Educated Horses" rang in a new era for RZ - of greatness. It's amazing what the right group of musicians can achieve once assembled.

  • they remind me of centibites in this picture

  • joey :D

  • john 5 is a awesome guitar player

  • Rob Zombie,John 5,Piggy D,and Joey Jordison...hmmm..THATS ONE BADASS SOUNDING BAND! These guys should have been in the lineup for the original issue of the CD! 3 songs these guys are on in the reissue whips the shit outta the rest of the album!

  • this song is badass. reminds me of superbeast

  • The next album needs to sound exactly like this. Please, Rob?

  • Comment removed

  • John 5 lights it up here.

  • The best musicer of the WORLD is Rob ZOMBIE. THE ALL BEST

  • Does this remind anyone else of superbeast a little? lol idk maybe just me. Awesome song!

  • this is fucking awesome?!

  • Whoever "dislikes" this song, has no taste in music. This is a sick song! Congrats to Rob, and Joey for special guest drummer! Two-thumbs-up!

  • ok i wander why they dident record about 5 more new songs and make another album its been about a year since hb2 anyway oh well i guess its cool to hear these but srsly i bought hellbilly deluxe 2 once why the fuck should i buy it again i hate to say this because i am the biggest zombie fan but rob youve just downright sold out with hb2 rerelase ><

  • @somethingnotdone you don't have to buy the album you know. I'll be more than happy to spend 12 bucks on a great cd that i already have, just cause Rob kicks ass. Besides my other hbd2 cd is scratched up anyways

  • ok i wander why they dident record about 5 more new songs and make another album its been about a year since hb2 anyway oh well i guess its cool to hear these but srsly i bought hellbilly deluxe 2 once why the fuck should i buy it again

  • O.o I knew RZ could make some music like the original Hellbilly!

  • It's because when he originally recorded the album, he didn't have Joey Jordison to bring out the old school zombie

  • this song kicks ass, the best i've heard in a while. sounds like it should have been on the original hellbilly deluxe. i'm glad he has multiple styles of music that he plays otherwise he would get stale and boring like many other artist. that's what makes him great live, so many good songs and they dont sound anything alike. with alot of other artists you can say if you have one album you have them all, you damn sure can't say that about mr. zombie.

  • Gypsy

  • Love It, Rock On Brother !!!!!

  • Now why the fuck didn't the rest of the album sound this bad ass? He needs to do more industrial sounding stuff, it's what he does best. I mean the acoustic stuff is alright, but this is where Rob Zombie shines. I want more songs like this on the next album.

  • @killswitch95 I agree, his last 2 albums have been lacking, this album had a few good songs on it though, more like his style

  • @killswitch95 Well considering he's got not only John 5 but now also Joey Jordison in his band he'd better do stuff like this or they'll get bored really fast.

  • @killswitch95 thisd is his last album cuz too many people download music and never buy cd's so this is his last one

  • @killswitch95 Rob shines on his horror style not industrial that's powerman's field get your facts

    =fuck industrial=

  • @Runnersfree it maybe horror style but hes still got an indistrial side, u ever heard any of his remixes? Industrialized to shit

  • @killswitch95 the reason the rest of the album wasn't as bad ass is because joey jordison did the drumming on the re-issue for track 1,8, 14, 15

  • I feel that this is Rob's response to everyone who ever doubted that he could still write songs in the the style of Hillbilly deluxe. It kinda sounds out of place on Hillbilly deluxe 2, but I'm so glad he released it. The next album needs more songs like this.

  • i wanna hear this intro backwards

  • joey should play with more bands, he just makes everything great. great song gentlemen.

  • Man this is good, wish the rest of the album was more like this

  • sounds a little like the electric head songs from white zombie good job rob zombie keep makin more badass songs this world needs them \m/

  • I prefer Jesus Frankenstein as the opener :P

  • @Mboone1994 yeah

having this song open the special edition kinda throws the sequencing of the album off a bit

  • @GasmaskAvenger It has a more eerie feeling. This would be a good closer or follow-up song to Jesus Frankenstein in my opinion.

  • rob needs to just stick to movies the song is ok but his older stuff was way better but having jhon5 makes it very interesting

  • It sounds like a less than spectacular Superbeast re-write.

  • This is more of what the entire album should have sounded like.

  • @catapult59000 sound way like white zombie and hell this is real zombie

  • this kinda reminds me of rob's zombie's reload song

  • Sounds like a return to Astro Creep 2000 from white zombie this is awsome

  • Comment removed

  • hmm about the guitar on this ; that is what happens if you let john 5 play guitar orgasms will happen

  • dont see joeys awesome drumming abilities being put to use in any of these songs...

  • OMFG IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!! HE HASNT HAD ANYTHING THIS HEAVY SENSE THE SINISTER URGE!!!!!!!!!! GO ZOMBIE!!!!!!!!!!! ZOMBIE! ZOMBIE! ZOMBIE!

  • this song is tight!

So Theme For An Angry Red Planet doesnt have lyrics or anything?

  • @Aaron128 Theme is just the Opening to the Originall Mars Need Women. They just sepereated it. No lyrics. Its that acostic part at the begining

  • @Elecktricd00m aight thanks

  • This song is awesome! This song sounds like something that would have been off the first Hellbilly Deluxe.

  • @CraigPhilipMyBeer it reminds me of Superbeast an awful lot

  • @hazza5600 yeah the drumbeats kind of remind me of "I, Zombie" from Astrocreep 2000 and the chorus kind of reminds me of "Demonoid Phenomenom"

  • @CraigPhilipMyBeer Absolutely agree!

  • Theme For An Angry Red Planet is just the acoustic intro to Mars Needs Women.

  • I knew this song was about the Manson family!! "Devils Hole" was their place out in the desert where they lived.

Hey Elecktric do you have the song "Michael?"

  • Nevermind Elecktric, I saw you have the other songs. Except for "Theme For An Angry Red Planet." Could you post that up?

  • Comment removed

  • @SinisterManiac If you want. It's just the original acoustic part at the begining of the song

  • @Elecktricd00m

Yeah, I'm aware it's just the acoustic part, but yeah it'd be cool if you got it up.
