Wow, people are so stupid. Some people are born with the gift of being able to play things by ear, on any instrument. Don't criticize his work when it's as amazing as it is. Your wonderful, don't ever let anyone tell you different. And to answer XxrunnerkidXx's question, you can know the notes because when you listen to the song, you find the right note on the piano that sounds the same, and then you play it. Then you learn the rest of the notes, and there ya go(:

I don't play any instruments.. but from the movie version, it sounds like your left hand should start low, get higher for 3 notes, then go back to low, not reversed like in yours.

@XxrunnerkidXx It is SO easy to learn songs by ear, take it one step at a time and it's simple, Hell, I hit one note on a keyboard and 5 minutes later, I figured out how to play the intro piano section to 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park. It's all practice so quit hating on a guy that just took the time to teach himself to play beautiful music.
