I remember seeing a crocodile that had been raised as a pet. It's person died so it went to a zoo, and adapted, but whenever people came it would come over to be petted. They showed it on a TV show and it went over and tried to crawl up in the zoo ladies lap and get a hug. She ended up leaning down to hug and pet him, because as she put it - he will always think of humans as part of his family, even though he also has crocodile family at the zoo now.

Her hand didn't need to be infront of it...the croc could have tore her face off at any moment, if it wanted. They're extremely fast...her face was in danger every time she was that close to it. It's strange to see these types of animals as pets...but with these, and those swimming freestyle with great whites....

You cant have a baby croc and tame it, it needs evolution. I saw on tv that it may be possible that cats chosen to be domesticated, because we provided shelter and food.
