I don't know how you came to that conclusion but surely not by using your brain. First of all Contador went to Saxo Bank on 3rd of August 2010, this video as you can see if from May'10. So without fortune-telling skills (which by the way I don't have) it would be hard to change in database something that actually didn't occur yet.

Second of all you didn't read the comments where it stands about thousand times that this video is from career mode, where you can buy and sell riders (and that's including Contador).

It depends what's the stage overall specificity. As you know there are 3 different ones: flat, hilly and mountain and stage with mountain in the middle can be any of them. So basically if it's flat you're most likely to win it with sprinter, if hilly with puncheur and so on. Then depending on that form train (if flat) or counter attack one of the leaders when you feel that the moment is right (hilly stages). And on that mountain part put your rider on dot to save some energy.

@Wroblitz and i've got another problem... if its a flat stage i need to win with sprinters.... but sometimes there are small hills and my good sprinters get out of energy although i put them on dot to save energy.... what shell i do?

If there is many hilly sections or they are so long that exhaust your sprinters then you won't be able to win it with them. Instead try to do it with possibly fast rider that has some energy left (good HIL ans SPR stats) like Cancellara or Hushovd.

It depends on how race goes and distance left. If he's close to the finish line (let say 5 km or less) and there's no one in front I put him on dot and try to use up all his yellow bar (just like in time trial). If he's further away I prefer "maintain position" and keep him behind other rider's wheel.

It's hard to say because (believe it or not) I don't take that much care about the shorts. You'll be better of waiting to Tour de France and trying to get a leader's yersey there and see for yourself. Anyway why you so mad about those shorts?
