It would have been really something if Venus had life at one time! I mean I always burst out with questions when i find out about something in science. So if life on Venus had been proven I would have really been wondering alot of things like, What did their species look like?, What was their life-style?, What was Venus's currency(if they used money)? lol so yeah i think i am starting to believe this.
Well I really don't want to diminish your enthusiasm, but if life exist on Venus, it is probably microscopic. Also when we imagine extraterrestrial, we couldn't abstarct from earthly organisms. I mean you couldn't imagine what you have never seen. No matter how hard you try, it will has some connection with Earth. For example why should aliens almost exactly look like humans? Two eyes, two arms, etc. Or why shoud they use water and carbon.

@roxas452 It's not venus that got too close to the sun, it's the sun's heat that increased, approx 4 billion years ago the sun was 40% cooler than today, so venus was warm like earth, earth and other planets were frozen, read about the red giant, the earth will turn into another venus in about 4 billion years.

i mean.. is the presure a real problem for life? or the temperature? submarine expeditions have proven they are NOT

It would have been really something if Venus had life at one time! I mean I always burst out with questions when i find out about something in science. So if life on Venus had been proven I would have really been wondering alot of things like, What did their species look like?, What was their life-style?, What was Venus's currency(if they used money)? lol so yeah i think i am starting to believe this.

Well I really don't want to diminish your enthusiasm, but if life exist on Venus, it is probably microscopic. Also when we imagine extraterrestrial, we couldn't abstarct from earthly organisms. I mean you couldn't imagine what you have never seen. No matter how hard you try, it will has some connection with Earth. For example why should aliens almost exactly look like humans? Two eyes, two arms, etc. Or why shoud they use water and carbon.

It is possible, that we have already found life, but it so alien that we cannot recognize it as life. I have tried several times to draw aliens which look completely different, but it always had some earthly features.

Actually higher in the atmosphere the atmosphere is on par with our own and the temperature similar as well. But still terribly acidic. Very unlikely that there is life. More likely life would be found on Mars under the soil or on an ice moons undersurface sea.

I love some of the comments here. All of you should be commended for being open to the possibilites of different life forms and their different requirements. We should also be cautious in believing everything we are told about the planets, space, and lifeforms. One astronaut claimed to have seen some form of life actually living in the vacuum of space and tagged them the "unknowns". If you see the NASA 'Tether' video there are some incredible anomalous UFO's/creatures/things!!!

its difficult to say whether life can thirve on the Venusian clouds, there's barely any water vapour and its highly concentrated sulphuric acid. More over, Venus does not have a magnetic field which protects the clouds from harmful Solar flares and solar radiation ,as a result, it makes more difficult for water vapour to thrive. at least they detected traces of minute concetrations of oxygen in the Venusian clouds, that mght help, but otherwise, very hostile all over. and its 450 d celcius.

Another thing that comes to my attention, (this is the last thing) Val Thor looked EXCACTLY like a Human... you couldn't tell the difference... It says Venus was just like Earth, untill it burned, forcing everyone underground. I do believe we're related to Venus, sharing the same species, seeing as the same conditions caused life to evolve the excact same. That would explain Val Thor completly. There's no way they could have known much about Venus in the 50s, lack of technology.

And also that "person" they took a picture of, on Mars' surface looked like a Bigfoot. The reason they've only manage to take a photo of one of these things, could be because they all live underground, and that single "Bigfoot" was simply climbing out to investigate what the machine was on the surface. If Mars does have occupants, (intelligent ones, because that's all I care about) and that wasn't just a rock they took a pic of... then they don't look too advanced, huh? It's like Caveman times.

You know, according to Val Thor, (An alien humanoid that came to earth for several month in the 50s) claimed that he was from Venus. He said the conditions are much too harsh to live on the surface, so they had their whole world built FAR below the Earth's crust... and that's how many planet inhabitants live, except for those on Earth, because the condition is good enough on the surface (For now). Reason they don't find intelligent life on Mars, is prob because they live Under... you think so?

what i don't get is, scientists say that no organism can survive without oxygen, but in thinking outside the box, what if that was only earth species? what if in other places in the solar system or better yet the galaxy, live on some other gases and have completely different body systems or needs for life?

I watched something on this, where we could put humans on venus because there's a spot where the temperature is worthy of a well habitat and you'd have to have a moving platform going at 2 miles per hour to keep up with the sun, and on one end it captures the sun's rays for energy so the building will never stop moving.
