Calbert Cheaney was not a waste, he was one of the few decent outside shooters they had in the 90's. And Rod Strickland was half the reason the Bullets made the playoffs in the 97 season. Let's face it, he would have been a better starting PG than Robert Pack. And big Muresan, he lacked offensive skills, especially for a European player.
@Grapes428 They should've kept Rex Chapman and traded Cheney to the Heat in 1995. You all saw the 24.5 ppg average Chapman put up against Seattle in the first round back in 97.
@Grapes428 You're joking? Muresan was an offensive stylist. Soft touch and post moves. His body just couldn't handle the grind. His weakness was defense
The other "Where Amazing Happens" - featuring Googs - is funnier and much more poignant and "true." And Calbert, while a consistent "valuable contributor," was blunder-prone, at the most inopportune moments, and for all his basketball pedigree have very low court savvy. Still, at times he would steal your breath away with his graceful athleticism.
I don't know what you're insinuating, Mitchell Butler was a tremendious defensive stawper
