  • why cant nitecore use an sst90 emitter. one sst90 emitter can produce 2000 lumens

  • Oh, I forgot: Excellent review! Thanks!

  • It is just a matter of maybe waiting and saving up the money. How many have an iPhone or similar? How many have bought several 30-60$ lights? I bet many. I know I have. And looking at it now I think in the future I will not use the other lights when this arrives...

  • I have this light on the way to me and I just can't wait. I feel like a kid waiting for santa :-) I love the fact that they have really put a lot of thought to the design and functionality. Lots of people say "we can't afford lights that cost this much" but I would say most can. Why?...

  • I have this light and when it gets below 30 deg it does not work. all three of the light will not come on. only one might come on then it heats up and later the other will come on. I tried different batteries.

  • does the discount work one time or can i use it every time to purchase products from going gear?

  • Although I am a subscriber, I gave this video a thumbs down because I would wager that the vast majority of preppers cannot spend $260.00 for a flashlight. If I might suggest, if you are going to continue to review products, why not review several flashlights under $40?

  • Excellent review!!!!!:)

  • does it come with batteries? I'm gonna purchase some eagletac rechargeable batteries.

  • This sounds like the music from KVIP or K-Love Christian music station? I dont know if you know what Im talking about....but this song at the beginning is from a Local Christian Radio Station I listen to hear in California.

  • Nice Door Sign. Also people can whinge about paying $260 for a torch, but if your in law enforcement, this thing could save your life, or someone else, by helping you catch a suspect, because you could see him at a longer distance. The power this thing puts out in the compact size it comes in is awesome. All it's missing is the ability to recharge without having to pull it apart, like from a cigarette socket. If you check the website it's currently sold out. There's a reason for that.

  • Just once I'd like to see Sootch showing off a flashlight and actually catch someone by the fence who shouldn't be there.

  • Sooch, I know there are many of good flashlights out there, however, to me, it's all about the batteries. The long life and ease of the AA battery is what flashlight companies need to focus on. This is why I favor the Sevens Quark AA2 R5 205 lumens flashlight. I purchased three of these, one for the airstream camper, house and truck, and is in my opinion the perfect size. Keep making your vids, I've been following you for over a year now.

  • Damn, sold out.

  • Now to find a weapons mount for it!!! I NEED IT ON MY AR!!! lol j/k

  • Sootch showed me this light last night. It is an amazing light. It's no wonder they call it a little monster. Later! John

  • Looks like a certain sex toy.

  • Hey I have this light as well. I like it a lot but my only complaint is that that o-ring is getting pinched when I tighten the batteries in. I have a extra o-ring but its really hard to change out!

  • Sootch, you know NiteCore is Chinese right?

  • @FWalshingham Unfortunately almost all electronics are coming from Asia. Nitecore is high quality gear and that's what's important no matter what country. That's why I drive a German car. There's nothing to compare in US lights. Surefire M6LT is 900 Lumens but $575 MSRP. I try to buy U.S. made products but can't always. Thanks~

  • @FWalshingham what aint made in china

  • Sootch evert light I have got latey I got from goinggear. The servers is great and love the prices. Your vids are great to. Keep up the go work.

  • Oh my god I gotta have this thing! O.O

  • Dayum that is bright.

  • Ya always do great vids brother,

  • Bet it runs for just 50 minutes under full power

  • That is one badass minilight

  • I can't thank you enough for using Metric measurements. I don't have to calculate in my head for Imperial. Thank you

  • Thats a nice flashlight.

I use WiseLED Tactical 2300 lumen. And i love it. Cost a hell lot of money.

  • Sootch I could see that from Colorado...

  • That's quite a light. The "Sootch" coupon is much appreciated, my friend. Thanks for all your efforts. Blessings on you and yours.

  • I recently bought a Nebo Redline. 220 lums at 100%. I gotta say it's not a bad little light for it's size, shines great to 150 yards and uses 3 AAA batteries for cheap refreshing. It is only 4 and a half inches long, 1 inch at the butt and 1 and a half at the business end. Also is magnetic at the butt end. Has 5 settings: SOS, strobe, 22 Lums, 110 Lums, and 220 Lums. $28.

  • Wow

  • Great info. sweet light.

  • hand held spot light!

  • "....for pressure points..." yeah right....

beside that comment it was a great review!!!

  • That thing throws out more light than the bat signal!!!

  • Holy crap, this thing is a monster!

  • take that bigfoot hunting, get some real surprises of what is lurking out there, lol

  • That is a lot of money. Doesn't anyone show things for less then $50 ? Times are tough, money is tight for a lot of people and everyone shows high-end products. If I was getting it for zero I guess I'd have to show it as well. But my standards can't be bought.

  • @MeNewBee I have other flashlight reviews from $30 up. I spend money on quality and if you can't afford it, then don't buy it. All of my guns are much higher than this light. Bye~

  • @MeNewBee

    No whining allowed please.

  • @MeNewBee MillerUSAF does a lot of "budget" gear review...

  • @MeNewBee A good flash light is something you should spend good money.

  • @MeNewBee Ultrafire Cree Xm-l T6 1000 Lumen for around $25

  • @MeNewBee - Your standards can't be bought.....?? More like your broke ass can't afford them if you are complaining about the price of this light. It is expensive, but not for what you are getting. Start looking into flashlights - $40 - $100 will get you some NICE stuff and a surprising selection. Look (Google or YouTube search) if words aren't enough.

  • how much??? i want one

  • @TrifeThaDon About $200. - $260. depends where you look.

  • red ring of death lol

  • Nice light. Gotta get me one of those.

On the 18650's, I just busted open another laptop battery and harvested 9 perfectly fine 2600Mah Samsungs. Most the time, it is the circuitry that fails these batteries, not the batteries themselves. Just be careful. They will go sparky if bridged.

  • Death waits in the dark

  • Nice flashlight...I have a Sure Fire....These lights are better than mace in that kind of situation.

  • i had a Nitecpre d10sp but it has left the building long time ago. it Still gives a beam but the interface is messed up. i don't get it fixed, it just goes in the "fail" cabinet to rmember me nitecore is crap. In the end my light of choice will be any fenix since they've never ever let me down.

  • DOES ANYONE MAKE A SOLAR BATTERY CHARGER FOR THE BATTERYS IN THIS FLASHLIGHT. IF NOT IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO KEEP CHARGED IN A SHTF SITUATION.

  • i got a great flash light with a cree light for 25$ at lowes puts out 1 30 lumens and its made of aircraft alum" water proof to its a great light for the money

  • That is one sweet flashlight! I'm going broke...must.stop.watching.reviews! lol

  • Hey very very very nice review :)

I absolutly love jetbeam and if ya love jetbeam ya gota love nitecore cause thier the same company of course. But I have 5 jetbeam's and no nitecore's and I'm thinkin I really like this one alot I didn't at first because the shutter switch but the more I see it the more I want it... Incredible light and great review :)

  • Wow serious flashlight! Thanks fir posting.

  • Which 18650 batteries were you using?

  • @Snelson2009 They are JetBeam brand. Thanks~

  • neat light but out of my price range.....even with your discount. Thanks for another excellent review.

  • impressive.

    even at 550 ;-)

  • Cool flashlight...but for $260 bucks? I believe I'll pass on this. There are other, more cost effective options for a quality security flashlight, that won't break the bank like this monster does.

  • @cdltpx Priest! Priest! Priest!

  • Priest! Priest! Priest.

  • @CTKTMRIDER Right on : )

  • Sweet Light!!!!!

  • As always, thanks for another great Vid my friend!! And just to let everyone know the 10% off with Sootch00 is on everything, not just flashlights. Got a new light over there Andy put me onto, Klarus XT2A, its similar to the XT20 but it runs on 2AA batts which is something I really like. 245 lumens!! Thanks again Don!!! - Chris

  • Weapon mount?

  • I love your sign....lol

  • I could use this at my job as a mall ninja.

  • I'm blind!

  • I would love one of these. But it costs almost $300 here in Australia. We are always ripped off when it comes to prices. :-(

  • Very cool flashlight! Thanks for the review.

  • The lumens arms race continues. That is simply awesome. My BC40 is enough to annoy my neighbors and that isn't close to this output.

  • Pretty cool light man! Thanks for sharing!

    Peace

  • That is a nice light with very good run time with high lumens

  • Sootch there is a free program for flashlight junkies. Its called FA (Flashaholics Anonymous). Not to be confused with Flashers Anonymous. Theyre a whole 'nother group of people.

Ive been off flashlights for 20 days now. I relapsed during Christmas. Before Christmas i stayed off flashlights for almost 6 months! Im gonna make it for good this time!

You should come to one of our meetings.

  • @556DOS45 I have same problem with shotguns

  • ok

  • lets see if we can get this output in a aa2 in ten years.

  • Outstanding video, not only is this video displaying an excellent flash light but

I totally enjoyed how you explained and demonstrated it's functions and it's capabilities,

might I add I've enjoyed many of your video's.

    Keep up the good work.

    J.Marino

  • sootch u crazy wacko... awesome lil flashlight getting that first thing in the morning... great vid sootch, keep them coming.

  • sootch, why dont you guys give an initial price range?..is it because you are going for hits on the seller sites?

  • Very cool

Just not currently in my budget

But if you want to give it away in acontest ;p

  • If I was ever getting a light between 200-300$, this world probably be it

  • You gotta stop doing these sootch, I bought the last flashlight you reviewed already...

  • That's a pricey little light but it's honestly worth that amount. I read everything about it on going gear and it really is a monster. A programmable strobing light like that is a must have for anybody. Jetbeam lights kick ass too for less money but none are brighter than the little monster. I will never trade off my Jetbeam for it but that's a face melter.

  • sweet light. id still go with a surefire for my defense tho. tough, simple, proven. what do u think?

  • Is that 2000 lumens otf?

  • how much ?

  • @Nicho2177 $260 on going gear

  • Im not sure I believe the lumens. it looks bright as heck. but do they measure out the front or at the LED

  • Wow! When you turned it off in the field and it went to darkness, then you just turned on the light it was like you had some extra lights on tripods behind you. Crazy!

  • throw that mofo on your keychain lol

  • Why doesn't it have a ultra low mode for longterm useage? :(

I was really hoping for something around 2 to 10 lumens

  • Nice

  • Does it work as an improvised stove?

  • ha ha you dont need a gun just melt their face !

  • I'm getting one. Its worth the money it costs.

  • how does it work after being dropped a few times?

  • @76malibuman It's 1.5 meter drop resistance. I'm not sure what that means but that's what it said : ) Thanks~

  • @sootch00 thats less than 5 feet,,, kinda scary paying 300 bucks for some thing that isnit guaranteed not to break if it rolls of the hood of my truck, its an awesome tool ,but i aint known for my gracefulness so unless you are willing to do a drop test Ill pass,or wait for the HD version

  • im not a big light guy..

  • in my opinion its really not that tiny when you think about it.

  • @duuudee1 That's where "Monster" comes in : ) It's a cool light.

  • @sootch00 yeah but for edc i would`t choose this. still keeping my preon 2 will you review it and check nutnfancys review of it. keep the vids coming.

  • holy fuck

  • That is sweet but I really dislike the price of cr123's I think I might have to invest in the 8650 rechargeable batteries

  • @NinjaAegis I'm a fan of the rechargable 18650's. The one advantage the CR123's have is a 10 year shelf life. I agree though that 123's are too expensive. Thanks~

  • @NinjaAegis I've read that some rechargeable batteries (CR123) can ruin flashlights if the lights aren't made for them. Don't know if it's true or not.

  • @Tedkennedysswimcoach thanks, Definitely something to check out before I use em

  • I like that you have taken up these light reviews. Marshal did a good job but i like your review better.

  • >dealextreme

  • wow 260 bucks..

  • Judas Priest that is a bright light bet it has to cost $200?

  • That is huge. Not for 2,000 lumens. But, I don't see ever carrying that around unless I need to start spotlighting zombies.

  • Oh man more money to spend. Thanks

  • sweet light. website says they are sold out tho.

  • This will go well with a Glock G17 Small.

  • hehe thats huge
