It is just a matter of maybe waiting and saving up the money. How many have an iPhone or similar? How many have bought several 30-60$ lights? I bet many. I know I have. And looking at it now I think in the future I will not use the other lights when this arrives...
I have this light on the way to me and I just can't wait. I feel like a kid waiting for santa :-) I love the fact that they have really put a lot of thought to the design and functionality. Lots of people say "we can't afford lights that cost this much" but I would say most can. Why?...
I have this light and when it gets below 30 deg it does not work. all three of the light will not come on. only one might come on then it heats up and later the other will come on. I tried different batteries.
Although I am a subscriber, I gave this video a thumbs down because I would wager that the vast majority of preppers cannot spend $260.00 for a flashlight. If I might suggest, if you are going to continue to review products, why not review several flashlights under $40?
This sounds like the music from KVIP or K-Love Christian music station? I dont know if you know what Im talking about....but this song at the beginning is from a Local Christian Radio Station I listen to hear in California.
Nice Door Sign. Also people can whinge about paying $260 for a torch, but if your in law enforcement, this thing could save your life, or someone else, by helping you catch a suspect, because you could see him at a longer distance. The power this thing puts out in the compact size it comes in is awesome. All it's missing is the ability to recharge without having to pull it apart, like from a cigarette socket. If you check the website it's currently sold out. There's a reason for that.
Sooch, I know there are many of good flashlights out there, however, to me, it's all about the batteries. The long life and ease of the AA battery is what flashlight companies need to focus on. This is why I favor the Sevens Quark AA2 R5 205 lumens flashlight. I purchased three of these, one for the airstream camper, house and truck, and is in my opinion the perfect size. Keep making your vids, I've been following you for over a year now.
Hey I have this light as well. I like it a lot but my only complaint is that that o-ring is getting pinched when I tighten the batteries in. I have a extra o-ring but its really hard to change out!
@FWalshingham Unfortunately almost all electronics are coming from Asia. Nitecore is high quality gear and that's what's important no matter what country. That's why I drive a German car. There's nothing to compare in US lights. Surefire M6LT is 900 Lumens but $575 MSRP. I try to buy U.S. made products but can't always. Thanks~
I recently bought a Nebo Redline. 220 lums at 100%. I gotta say it's not a bad little light for it's size, shines great to 150 yards and uses 3 AAA batteries for cheap refreshing. It is only 4 and a half inches long, 1 inch at the butt and 1 and a half at the business end. Also is magnetic at the butt end. Has 5 settings: SOS, strobe, 22 Lums, 110 Lums, and 220 Lums. $28.
That is a lot of money. Doesn't anyone show things for less then $50 ? Times are tough, money is tight for a lot of people and everyone shows high-end products. If I was getting it for zero I guess I'd have to show it as well. But my standards can't be bought.
@MeNewBee I have other flashlight reviews from $30 up. I spend money on quality and if you can't afford it, then don't buy it. All of my guns are much higher than this light. Bye~
@MeNewBee - Your standards can't be bought.....?? More like your broke ass can't afford them if you are complaining about the price of this light. It is expensive, but not for what you are getting. Start looking into flashlights - $40 - $100 will get you some NICE stuff and a surprising selection. Look (Google or YouTube search) if words aren't enough.
On the 18650's, I just busted open another laptop battery and harvested 9 perfectly fine 2600Mah Samsungs. Most the time, it is the circuitry that fails these batteries, not the batteries themselves. Just be careful. They will go sparky if bridged.
i had a Nitecpre d10sp but it has left the building long time ago. it Still gives a beam but the interface is messed up. i don't get it fixed, it just goes in the "fail" cabinet to rmember me nitecore is crap. In the end my light of choice will be any fenix since they've never ever let me down.
i got a great flash light with a cree light for 25$ at lowes puts out 1 30 lumens and its made of aircraft alum" water proof to its a great light for the money
I absolutly love jetbeam and if ya love jetbeam ya gota love nitecore cause thier the same company of course. But I have 5 jetbeam's and no nitecore's and I'm thinkin I really like this one alot I didn't at first because the shutter switch but the more I see it the more I want it... Incredible light and great review :)
Cool flashlight...but for $260 bucks? I believe I'll pass on this. There are other, more cost effective options for a quality security flashlight, that won't break the bank like this monster does.
As always, thanks for another great Vid my friend!! And just to let everyone know the 10% off with Sootch00 is on everything, not just flashlights. Got a new light over there Andy put me onto, Klarus XT2A, its similar to the XT20 but it runs on 2AA batts which is something I really like. 245 lumens!! Thanks again Don!!! - Chris

That's a pricey little light but it's honestly worth that amount. I read everything about it on going gear and it really is a monster. A programmable strobing light like that is a must have for anybody. Jetbeam lights kick ass too for less money but none are brighter than the little monster. I will never trade off my Jetbeam for it but that's a face melter.
Wow! When you turned it off in the field and it went to darkness, then you just turned on the light it was like you had some extra lights on tripods behind you. Crazy!
@sootch00 thats less than 5 feet,,, kinda scary paying 300 bucks for some thing that isnit guaranteed not to break if it rolls of the hood of my truck, its an awesome tool ,but i aint known for my gracefulness so unless you are willing to do a drop test Ill pass,or wait for the HD version
