good good combos... Now lets see you preform them on the right hand side of the screen.. Obvious the left side is your strong spot, you kept trying to get over the left with Akuma while playing Ryu...
This has been the only combo video that ive seen to be believable. Most others are rigged by using mugen or a certain option that lets you juggle player infinite number or times or makes you land faster than the opponent. GREAT VID.
Is there a place where I can find lists of combos? Like I can get for Mortal Kombat? That would be really helpful. At the moment I cant come close to any of this stuff. Never really used V-Ism before. I always stuck with A-Ism, but I'm definitely going to try it out properly..especially with Akuma!! *evil laughter*
maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about, but.. the VCs don't seem to do that much damage other than Ryu's hopkick hadouken VC. Seems like A-ism would be a better choice for the other characters since the level 3 supers do a ton of damage. But then again, if someone could explain why V-ism is the way to go, that'd be great!
V meter charges faster, VC combos can lead to crouch cancel infinities, blow through ability, usually more damage then A or X combos, unblockable VC options for some chars, full screen VC make you paranoid as opponent (aka Akumas rediculess VC options from everywhere) etc.
@FreddyCrouger666 Also, the strength you press determines the time between your attacks and the shadows. For example both lights mean your shadows attack immediately after you, mediums slightly longer, heavies the longest. With Ken you can spam hurricane kicks if you activate with mediums, and with bison in HEAVY you can attack from both sides by doing his psycho ball and teleporting, your shadow will attack from the previous side.
at 3:25, you could have juggled the hurricane kick by tapping down before inputting the command. in fact, in my experience, with most arcade versions of zero3 you can do an infinite juggle by just tapping down before inputting roundhouse hurricane again and again with akuma; i'm not sure if the final asia release 'fixed' this admittedly cheap but fun tactic.
Sakura combo should be using VC2 or 3. Ryu combo is usually fireball c.mk fireball c.mk fireball f.mk repeat. This is one is a little difficult though which is why people dont really do it.
Yes I know but due to button restrictions, I had to use VC1 (LP+LK). As for the Ryu VC, yes that's exactly why I didn't use that combo but yeah, saw it in that Daigo link I posted 2 posts up.
"*NOTES* - [1] - Ryu's VC has no real 100% set-up, or at least that I know of so it's either luck or chip damage for his VC." - Nevermind that. Apparently there is a 100% anti-air set-up VC: http://youtube.com/watch?v=qrB47_naXYE
-->+MK xx QCF+HP (repeat). Make sure that it's a QCF and not a HCF. A HCF will cause a red fireball to come out, and you want the blue one. As for Ken, I don't play V-Ken at all. I don't really reccomend using him.
Stupid 500 character limit. *NOTES - Part 2* [3] - Akuma's "Demon Flip VC has 2 variations. One is the red fireball varation and the other is the blue fireball. The first VC is his standard VC, the red fireball Demon Flip VC. Since this variation can be easily countered, landing this will mean by chip damage or luck. The second VC, the blue fireball variation is the real 100% set-up. However, damage should be noted between Akuma's two VC's. Red fireball VC counter vid coming soon.
*NOTES* - [1] - Ryu's VC has no real 100% set-up, or at least that I know of so it's either luck or chip damage for his VC. [2] - Sakura's extra corner combo is un-techable (Jab Shououken should be techable but it's not since it's in the corner. Strange VC property).
OK. For this combo video I tried to do standard VC's that were 100% un-air recoverable (un-techable). Since the arcade version doesn't have an air-recover option, I thought playing against the CPU would be the next best thing. All combos are 100% un-techable and are able to be done during a real match.
God I love this game! So many good memories, and world tour mode is still the best single player mode ive ever seen in a beat em up. Classic

I find the gameplay of this game much better than Capcom vs SNK 2. Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 are my favourite SF games. :)

HOw do i get into V mode?
FreddyCrouger666 3 years ago
1 - LP + LK
2 - MP + MK
3 - HP + HK
Depending on which character you are using, choosing the right V-ISM is necessary, in order to maximize VC damage potential.

got any good combos for ken? The only V-ism combo i have for him is continuous medium shoryus, then a fierce shoryu finished with a medium tatsumaki.
